Everything. An amazing retreat in the Highlands.
Nothing major. The shower isn’t powerful but it was hot which is more important

We had a great stay in this cottage. The accommodation is clean and cozy fully compliant with the listing. Great location with amazing view.

We loved the beautiful location, it was cosy and the kitchen was excellent for cooking. The cottage was decorated for Christmas, it's gorgeous.
Nothing really, the only thing we thought could be better was the main bed was short so if you are 6ft tall you will find the bed a little short for comfort.

We had a great stay at the Colonsay and Shuna Cottages. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. The photos of the cottages don't really show how nice they are and the views are great. Close to a lot the walks and scenic areas around glencoe and fort william. Rachel provided detailed info on the cottages and local area and accommodated a late request for a later check out without an issue. Hope to return the in future.

Lovely cosy home for the week. The most perfect views from every direction.
Sunset and Sunrise beautiful.
Home was very clean, beds were comfy. Had everything we needed in the kitchen.
Even though there were other homes around felt like you were there on your own.
Little walk above the cottages was nice.
We had a few days of snow that covered the drive way up. But the owners each day did an amazing job of clearing the driveway. Well done you were great.
If I really had to think of something. The bench used at the table was a bit uncomfortable to sit at, and tipped over a couple of times landing on my sons foot. We realised it had a wobble because the little rubber foot had come off.

A really nice, comfortable and clean cottage with a wonderful location. Great communication.
I am getting really picky here. The kitchen and living room heater (located near the kitchen), doesn’t really keep the living room warm. To be fair, I didn’t turn it up all the way.
Hinges on the two bedroom doors need oiling as they squeak quite a bit.

The Croft cottage was a perfect place to stay while exploring the Glencoe area, had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy and in the perfect location.
Very frost (and beautiful) outside but warm and cosy inside.
Lovely Christmas tree, decorations and fairy lights - nice that the host took the time to do this.
Will book again next time we’re up that way.
On arrival we drove past it as hard to spot the turn in the dark - maybe the sign could have a little light.

So clean and tidy. The little finishes especially for Christmas time made it feel extra homely. The view is incredible. If it is this beautiful in winter we can only imagine what summer must be like.

Best location. The view was just stunningly beautiful. We watched the sunset and stars every night here. The whole house was beautifully finished with a Christmas tree and other decorations, which was a lovely surprise. We even got a welcome basket which was very nice. The location is excellent as it’s very near to the Glencoe Mountain Resort, Three Sisters, Glencoe viewpoint and other beautiful sites.
The bathroom did not have any hair and body wash, no laundry detergent, dishwashing brush, could have used more bin liners.

Lovely Location, the owner was available for anything we needed, the House was very clean and the facilities were great. I would definitely repeat and recommend it.
A bigger pan would be good, when you rent this cottage you usually go with a big family or group of friends. I would suggest to replace the lamp in the bathroom (en suite). Otherwise was perfect!

This was a lovely cottage overlooking the loch. Very peaceful and relaxing. Short drive into Fort William. We would definitely stay here again
Shower was intermittently hot / cold

Kitchen diner brilliant for a family meal, gorgeous lounge and a view to die for. Worth staying for the views alone. Extremely cosie, fresh flowers in the lounge, milk and biscuits, amazing shower. The best sofas ever!!!
Not a Criticism but suggestion, guess it’s due to space being an old cottage, maybe wardrobe/space as you come up the stairs to the right. We were only staying two nights so didnt really unpack, but longer stay would like to hang clothes up 😃

The views were incredible. Even though it was raining our entire visit, we could still appreciate the giant windows that overlooked the beautiful lake and mountains. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole house was neat and clean.
The only complaint I have is in the room with twin beds, the bed frames were squeaky when ever you moved. And the bathroom only had body soap, no shampoo or conditioner.

Good location, kitchen essentials provided and more! Bedrooms warm & comfortable, lovely and clean, everything felt brand new.
The shower, the water pressure is nearly non existent and juggling the dials to get a water temp that was comfortable between scalding and freezing was tricky.

Property was beautiful. Was like a home from home with all the amenities but a much better view. We stayed in lismore and what can i say except i loved the view every sunset and sunrise
The bed was slightly uncomfortable but that may just be a preference but i felt like i sunk into the bed and pillows where too hard but didn’t effect my stay

It was a lovely cottage, clean, tidy and well decorated etc. plenty of facilities and near to where we wanted to be. Felt it was really good value for money also.
Very steep stairs were a little bit unnerving at times, and low beams meant a couple of bumped heads.

The house was cleaned well for our arrival, there were enough basic amenities for our group of 7.
Gorgeous view!!
It was the perfect location for a comfortable base for exploring Glencoe, Fort William and Glenfinnan.

The host was great, prompt and helpful. Nice spacious dining and living areas. The views of the lake and the mountains were great. Lots of space in front of the cottage, for parking and a nice little sitting area. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. Short drive to many of the scenic locations. The scenes around were all breathtaking
The dark green carpets in the rooms were weird and felt not so clean, and the low lighting, gave it a gloomy feeling. For the private beach, you have to cross the main road (vehicles moving at 50mph), and the small gate (entrance to the steps to the beach) is hardly visible.
To get basic stuff we had to drive a bit to small Coops, and for restaurants it was a 20mnt drive to Fort William.

The location over looking loch linnie was perfect! The way the property has been modernised but kept the homely Croft feel is brilliant.
Not a lot to be honest! If there was possibly a small shed outside so we could store bikes bbq fishing rods, paddle boards, wetsuits this kinda thing with out re packing the car or potentially storing in the house and damaging something that would be ideal.

The location was excellent with beautiful views of Scottish Highlands. Mostly pretty comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Was quite suitable for our family gathering with 7 children ranging from 7 - 21. We had two cottages to accommodate everyone and had a great time.
Having our own private beach was a big plus and we spent a whole day swimming and fishing there.
Cottages needed a bit of tlc for decor e.g. hooks in en-suite were broken and somewhere to put wash bags rather than the floor. Outdoor furniture needed repairing. We are not fussy as we are used to camping but most people would think an update is needed in Oronsay.
Immediate outside area needed a tidy up. Oodles of potential.

The setting - beautiful views over the loch.
Lovely kitchen and patio doors.
Spacious rooms.
Garden bench could do with replacing as it's rotten.
There are loads of weeds around too, so it could do with a tidy up.

Excellent place to stay.
Perfect for a family get away, the kids loved the private beach at the bottom.
Location is immense, waking up and eating breakfast with stunning views.
Absolutely no noise disturbance, very clean and the hosts are very accommodating.
The wifi could have been better as the network signal strength isn't great in that area.
Other than the WiFi, everything else was perfect.

The modern cottage was great and exactly what we needed and more. The cottage was a mere 5 minute walk from the local hotel which served good food and drinks. Fort William, Ben Nevis and Glencoe were within 20 to 30 minutes by car.
The living space offered a cosy, comfortable space to socialise with friends whilst taking in the incredible views of the loch. The kitchen and bathroom was modern and offered all the facilities you need for a short stay.
Rachel (the host) was fantastic and answered any questions we had.
The temperature in the bedrooms at night could be quite warm and I wasn’t aware of any climate control measures to help combat this however, I could’ve missed it. There was radiators but I don’t think they offered any ‘cooling’ options.
There are windows which open however, we quickly learned that the insects from the bushes at the rear of the property would fairly soon make their way into the room.
If you are bringing dogs, best to be aware that, like any where else in Scotland, ticks are fairly common and can easily transfer on to you or your dog. The cottages are fairly close to long grass and bushes where you might take your dog for walks or bathroom breaks - not an issue with the property, just something to be aware of.
