Our thrill at the top of the hill

The apartment was bigger than we thought. It had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. The view was amazing. Looking out at the city of Oban every morning.

We didn't mind climbing down and up the small hill to the apartment. However, some may struggle.

Location :Have all the facilities .

Checking in is very late, and checking out too early.We were so exhausted waiting when it will be time to check in .wasted the whole day . Finally, it was for 4 nights and 4 days only. Will make sure next time we check in the time before booking.

Very spacious apartment the view was excellent

The whole apartment could have been cleaner. Confetti on the sitting room floor dust, crumbs and a chip underneath the dinning table and washed all the pans before use and the chopping boards were disgusting we boiled the kettle and scrubbed the ones we used some of the cutlery was dirty as well. We came to use the place mats and when we removed them from the place they were sitting on you seen the greasy dusty squares left.

A good flat but not well enough maintained

great location and view. Roomy flat with good kitchen and lounge.

Shower in ensuite bathroom is an accident waiting to happen due to no grab rails. Door to ensuite is warped so does not close. Door handle is broken and lock also needs attention. Emailed these facts to maintenance contact but no response.

Weekend in Oban

The view was excellent, we all loved watching the ferries come in. So close to McCaigs Folly we could almost touch it from the back of the flat.the beds were very comfy, I slept well which was helped by the thick curtains keeping out the daylight! Excellent selection of dishes and glasses. The kitchen and dining area were excellent and plenty of room know living room to chill out. Shame about the weather 😅

Unfortunately when we arrived the flat had not been cleaned and it was cold. Quickly got in touch with rental company then owner who arranged for the cleaner to come round. She was very apologetic! All the negatives are really around this issue - beds not made, stove not cleaned out, flat not cleaned, not enough loo roll, rotten milk in fridge. We could not get TV working all weekend, the owner tried to rectify this to no avail. It would not have matteed but the rugby was on!! He did however refund £50 for us to go to the pub to watch it. Storage heaters in back bedrooms didn't work Would we go back, yes but would check that the flat had been cleaned and was ready for guests first
