Relaxed atmosphere and no fuss. Cabin was lovely and cute with all the amenities needed and a relaxing log fire. A really lovely stay.

The location and the comfort and cosyness
Bed too small but that's personal preference

The setting of these cabins is delightful - surrounded by green trees with a nearby stream. They are also close to a walking/ cycle track which is part of a national network, so you can go a long way, but it's not so busy so that you can't walk easily and safely to nearby attractions.
The cabin is spotless with an excellent layout and is a lovely place to relax in at the end of the day.
Ballachulish is well located close to Glencoe and Fort William.
Nothing - it may seem expensive but not when compared to what else is available in the Highlands. We considered it money well spent

Location made it easy to travel the surroundings by car. It is a very quiet area. Great size for a solo traveler like myself.
Some minor things like difficult to open key lock and front gate is tricky to close the latch.

It was warm and cozy. Great shower. Fully equipped kitchen. Great location for walking trail

Great location, warm, comfy, well kitted out. Lovely owners, so helpful. Very nice place to stay.
The interior is starting to look a little tired, could be refreshed a bit.

People from continental Europe can feel here like at home. No UK typical separated water taps for hot and cold water, but standard, one hand operated water taps - see pics. Water pressure at the shower also normal. Even the thermal-static water tap is used in the shower! Very comfortable.
Excellent big windows, neighbors in decent distance, so no problem.
Cottage is small, but the rooms layout is very clever, so you don't mind at all.
Car parking for free in the cabin neighborhood.
Wood burner if you feel cold and for the romantic atmosphere.
You can also use electric heating.
We enjoyed and loved the stay here and would definitely come again.
I missed a washing machine a lot. It would be very handy to have a washing machine, for we did plenty of hiking trips. Using laundrette is much less comfortable and takes extra money and time.
Except for this, just some really minor things:
- The toilet flush button could use mending
- I would love to have more fire wood, or to have possibility to make one (possibility to borrow chainsaw and splitting axe).

Lovely new cabin tastefully decorated and designed. Warm and comfortable with the magic of the woodlands out every window. Cabin was well appointed and very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to make any meals in. Peaceful and quiet, but within reach of everything one would want to see in this area. Would recommend.

The Cabin was very cosy, well equipped, and had a nice fireplace that was prepared for us. The Host came by and welcomed us. He also gave us recommendations for our hiking trips. A book was also provided, which included information about nice walkways in the surrounding area that was very helpful for our day trip preparations.

Located right in the woods with good access to Fort William, Oban, Ben Nevis and Glenfinnan. Quiet with a babbling brook behind it. Super cosy, and didn’t feel like anything was missing. Facilities were great, shower was better than expected for a cabin in the woods, water pressure was fantastic too!

We booked this cabin as it was 25 mins drive from Ben Nevis - The cabin was clean and perfect for our stay - it was warm & the log burner made the room that little bit warmer when we came in from our hike - surrounding areas where beautiful and shirts driving distances to lots of beautiful walks and the town where there where bars and restaurant's - highly recommended
Small welcome pack to make tea from our long journey would be nice

The modern, comfortable, well-equipped cabin is in a beautiful, quiet wood, well placed for walking in the Ballachulish/Glencoe area. We were there in May so the bluebells were out. The cabins are well-spaced so no one is overlooked and there is ample space for parking.

Very uncomfortable bed
Chairs not comfortable either
Garden not pet secure
On every morning when leaving by the front door there was a smell of sewage

It’s a great location, well placed for all the main sites. And the woods make it feel secluded. The cabin has most things you would need, obviously every option can’t be catered for, but we managed easily with two fussy children for a week both eating in and going out locally. And everyone slept well.
It was nice to have the bluebells making an early appearance, and was better without the midges this visit!

Cabin was really warm and cosy, shower was lovely (hot and powerful). Tea, coffee, sugar etc provided.
TV signal a bit bad at times, but we are in the woods so to be expected.

The cabins are really nice, clean and tidy. You have fire place which will keep you warm, it got too hot at some point. :D
The location is really good, some really nice walks close by.
You have parking a few meters from the cabins which is great.
Really easy to get the keys and the host sent me a lot of info prior my arrival : where to eat, where to do shops, closing times etc etc. Really helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend.

Nothing, only that we had to leave.

Loved the location for walking, the cycle routes and perfect for site seeing, Alistair came over to check we had everything we needed on arrival, such a lovely host. The cabin itself was lovely and even loved the extra touch of providing a dog bowl and feeding matt for our 2 working cocker spaniels and the log burner was lovely in the evening for relaxing after a full day. There were 5 adults and 13yr old and the was enough room. Kitchen was very well equipped, it had everything we needed, would 100% stay there again and would highly recommend it, 5 stars from all of us

Nice place in the middle of the woods, near a lot of interesting sites to visit
8.0 / 10.0
It was a very cosy cabin. Everything you needed was present.
It is a pitty that there is a busy road between the site and the beach. On the other hand, the friendly owner gave us directions for a beautiful small walk, starting behind the site and reaching the beach after 15 min over a safe hiking trail.

The property was really cosy and well equipped. An excellent location and the hosts were really accomodating and friendly.
Wood burner could do with a child guard around it as it stays hot for long and with young children in the cottage it was dangerous.

Lovely location and the noise of the burn. Very comfortable and ideal for a couple with a dog. Beautiful area.
Lack of shops in the area, the nearest supermarket is in Fort William.

Beautiful and cosy wooden cabins with fireplace in the middle of the forest. Very good location (to the water, to Glencoe). Very friendly host. We felt very comfortable.

Love the surroundings of the cabins, great nature, beautiful forest, singing birds and peace all around. You can have a lovely breakfast outside with all the nature around :)
Good location, simple but very comfortable accomodation with anything you may need during your stay. I also really liked the tips from the owners about local places to go. Thank you!
One small disadvantage: If you really have "pets allowed" on booking then you should not prohibit me from leaving my dog alone at the cabin. It is sometimes (like groceries) simply impossible to take your dog with you. If you are afraid of any damages: just take deposit/charge extra for bringing a dog
