This cottage is a truly wonderful home from home with amazing views across the loch. We all love the lochside walks each day and there are so many great places to visit in the area - Steall falls, Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct, Fort William, Mull, Skye to name but a few. The cottage is extremely well equipped so any rainy stay inside days are very comfortable.

Property is in a beautiful location, very spacious and nice and warm for winter. Joanne responded quickly to any messages and even arranged a Christmas Tree for our stay.

House is loch side, semi detached , with lovely views and secure garden for dogs or children or both. Sadly the garden is not private, close neighbours & nearby hotel distract a wee bit from the overall tranquility.
Unfortunately during our stay we couldn’t easily walk far along the loch shoreline due to rocks, no beach to speak of, likely due to time of year.
Car essential.
House is comfortable & perfectly functional but decor is dated & towels very rough. Well equipped kitchen.
The owners were quick to correspond regarding payment, booking confirmation & checking in/out information.
Overall Our stay was enjoyable. The Glen Coe area is always reliable for stunning scenery & good dining.
We enjoyed The Kingshouse after walking all day.
West Highland Taxis are very reliable & good value.
Inverlochy Hotel is lovely for afternoon tea.

Wow! What an absolutely beautiful place to spend a week away with the family. The cottage is in such lovely quiet grounds where all you can hear are the waves lapping up onto the beach a stones throw from the cottage. We were able to watch the visiting Doe have her breakfast whilst having a morning coffee, just bliss. The cottage is ideally positioned, having close links to Fort Williams, Oban and Glencoe and 2hours drive to Skye. The cottage is clean, comfortable, spacious and incredibly well equipped with everything you could need, including a large secure garden for your four legged family members, a real home from home. We will most definitely be returning :).

We had a very enjoyable stay in this pet friendly cottage. Tavish the dog loved the garden and swimming in the loch. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The views from the sun room are to die for. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and very comfortable for our party of five. We had an issue with one of the toilets but the landlords were excellent and organised a plumber to come in and rectify it quickly. The garden was beautifully kept and the whole surrounding area was lovely. Thoroughly recommend this cottage as an excellent quiet location to stay.

Excellent. Fantastic location on the shore (20m away). Clean and spacious - conservatory excellent allowing views and relaxation when indoor. Owners dropped by to check we were ok - much appreciated. All round no complaints, great property. Hope to be back!

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. The cottage is very well equipped with a well stocked kitchen for self catering and is very comfortable. The location on the banks of Loch Linnhe is beautiful. Breath taking views from each window. We had wonderful weather so were able to make use of the bbq on a couple of occasions too. Thoroughly recommended as a base for exploring the surrounding area and we will hopefully return one day

Wonderful cottage, stunning views and so very peaceful - just what we wanted! So much to explore within a short drive, Steall Falls, a Gondola ride, a loch cruise and Glenfinnan Viaduct, timed perfectly to see the Harry Potter train.
It was lovely to return to such a well equipped cottage (plenty of everything in the Kitchen and all very clean) and comfy beds with quality bedding.
When at 'home' we lived in the conservatory enjoying the changing views throughout the day.
Thanks Joanne for your warm welcome and for providing a cottage to be proud of.

We have just stayed in Joanne and Adrian’s fantastic cottage in a stunning location on the shores of Loch Linnhe. This cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and spacious with 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as well. The kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable. The loch is just at the bottom of the large fenced in garden which has patio furniture for you to sit and enjoy the views outdoors. The large spacious conservatory was the best room by far (all the rooms have good views) in the house to enjoy the spectacular views and ever changing weather conditions (better than watching boring TV). Glen Coe and the Isle of Mull can be seen from here. There are plenty of things to see and do: Short drive to Glen Coe, Glen Nevis, Fort William, Neptunes steps and Glenfinnan Viaduct as seen in the Harry Potter movies .There is picturesque walk from the cottage to Inchree waterfalls. Enjoyed it so much that we didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next visit next year

A comfy larger than expected holiday home. Not a stand alone holiday home although no neighbours at the time. Comfortable beds and nice to have a few bathrooms. Would be helpful to provide more oven trays, as only one very large one, and some non stick pans. Would also provide a plate/cutlary drainer for when washing up, as unfortunately the dishwasher wasn't working.
Kids loved the large garden and being able to walk down to the loch.
I would have a good sort out of all the tourist information leaflets before the new season and bin old ones. One up to date file is all you need.
We managed to do a lot in a week and although the weather wasn't great all week it didn't stop us getting out and about.

Just come back from an absolutely fantastic stay at Ardrhu Cottage and even the weather didn't ruin it for us.
The cottage has everything you could wish for including stunning views in every room. There were 5 adults + 1 dog staying here and the cottage is a lot bigger than seems on the photos, so there was never a feeling of over crowding.
The beach is literally a stones throw away which is perfect for our morning strolls and so peaceful.
The beds are also really comfy, so be prepared for the best nights sleep ever.
Fort William is a short drive away with a Morrison's supermarket, which is convenient. For a day trip I recommend the Jacobite railway but strongly recommend you book before the arrival on your holiday as this sells out pretty quick due to its popularity with Harry Potter fans.
Was lovely to see Joanne again after all these years and we will all be booking to stay here again soon as we did not want to leave.

A well appointed cottage with superb views across the Loch. The whole area around the cottage is well kept. The weather could have been kinder to us but it didn't stop us doing what we planned to do. The weather also has an effect on the Loch so provides many different pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Glenfinnan and walking the Trail around the magnificently engineered Victorian viaduct. Our trip to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula also surprised us with beautiful views across the Sound of Arisaig, Lochaber. A wonderful unspoilt area of Scotland.

We had an amazing week in this beautiful holiday home. The views are just amazing and the house itself is very comfortable and well equipped. And we were so fortunate to have fantastic weather too. Hopefully we will be back.

We have had a lovely week at one of the best properties we have ever been to, a true home-from-home, it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. With the addition of amazing scenery and the peace and quiet of the loch- side, even the midges were tolerable! The house was in a great location for exploring, and an unexpected bonus of the Corran ferry being free as we had a motability car. Adrian and Joanne live near by and were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay. Thank you
