It was easy to get into the cabin. We were told in advance the cabin name and code. BEAUTIFUL location although we couldn’t quite see the Ben due to the weather! The cabin was cosy and suited our needs and was a great base for us, especially with two dogs. Although basic, the cabin kept us dry in the Fort William weather and was nice and quiet. Location was great as only a few minutes from Fort William. Great recommendations from the host too. Hosts were really responsive to any questions, especially when trying to find the cabins!

I couldn’t find Torlundy Farm on Google maps so it was a bit of a nightmare trying to locate it. (Ive since added it to Google maps!) The postcode given didn’t match where the site was. However when I emailed them about this, they sent the exact location. When we arrived, the key to the cabin was left in the door and the lockbox was left open! Not sure if this was deliberate to help us out but seemed a bit odd! Some of the facilities weren’t working including the washing machine and there was no oven gloves, tea towels or hot water in the kitchen, making washing up a little tricky!

The kitchen had everything we needed. Very spacious living room, and a nice bathroom.

The main door didn’t lock.

From the chalet has a great view towards the north face of Ben Nevis. Good sized chalet

The chalet felt very dated and in need of modernising. It smelt musty and the rug and carpet was worn.
