Victoria House Bed and Breakfast

We have just completed a wonderful three night stay at the fabulous Villa Teuta where we were met by Damir on our arrival who also looked after us each morning so kindly at breakfast. Our room number 6 on the top floor was beautifully appointed and very comfortable with a seating area, wonderfully comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom. The air conditioning was just perfect for cooling down after a walk around the beautiful old town of Trogir. Villa Teuta is perfectly situated in the town not far from the Trogir bridge that crosses the island so an easy walk from the bus or taxi drop off, and lies on a quieter lane in the town so not as busy in the middle of that day as some of that major laneways can become. Our breakfast each morning was outstanding with Damir serving us each time and taking particular care that my wife who is gluten intolerant was well catered for. There was fresh fruit, smacked, omlette and croissant all available and delicious. Dinner on both occasions we dined at Queen Teuta, attached to Villa Teuta was magnificent. We were so well looked after by both Novica and Slavogub that we felt like family each time they greeted us. They were absolutely delightful and so very kind to us, always greeting us and making sure we were comfortable. Both the villa and the restaurant are extremely popular as we could testify from the couples and groups being kindly told that the restaurant was full for dinner. Although there were tables inside if so desired. Of course eating out in the courtyard was beautiful and on after a hot day a much preferred option. Thank you to all the team who made our stay so memorable and a particular mention to the lovely team in the kitchen who created such excellent meals for us at both breakfast and dinner during our stay.

Our host Jeana was amazing and friendly. Upon hearing that we got handfasted a few days before, Jena went all out and decorated our breakfast table with rose petals and chocolates. Jeana really went the extra mile to make our stay memorable.
