The location is perfect. Very close to Oban. Lovely forest walk to an amazing loch where we could swim. We were lucky with the weather and could sit on the little porch which was great. Great for travelling with dogs. We ate at the Barn and it was really tasty.
It could benefit from some updating. It was quite tired looking (especially the bathroom). The place had mould in a few places and had a bit of mildewy smell overall even though all the windows were open. I appreciate it’s a holiday home and Scottish weather is quite humid however there were mould marks on the curtains, around the windows and on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is quite limited although we made due for a couple of nights.
