Excellent stay and we highly recommend the flat as great value for money!

Great location, with walking distance to all we wanted to see, fantastic view from the living room and balcony, and we were fortunate to get a free parking spave in the back yard. The host provided various supplies and a welcome basket, which was very accomodating. Great attention to details throughout the flat and tips & tricks to make the most of our stay.

Missing a dish washer, and the exhaust hood was ineffective (maybe just a good cleaning?)

Had the most perfect stay!

The whole flat was perfect! So clean and super comfortable! The views were gorgeous and it’s central to everything. The extra touches that Fiona set up were stunning- the hot coco station, food in kitchen, all the toiletries, pillow spray and treats! Perfectly!!!

Very nice flat, but no good for the elderly or families with toddlers and prams.

Beautiful views, when it wasn’t raining, but that’s Scotland in March. 🤣It’s also why Scotland is so green and gorgeous.

No one mentioned how many steps up to the flat there were, until after it was booked. Not good to find this out once it’s paid. It’s a penthouse, I expected steps, but not that many. It was exhausting.

The balcony and the view are what made the stay different to any other but the whole apartment was beautifully done, lots of thoughtful touches.

I like everything of this property. It’s the most considerate host I have ever been met. She leaves a message at every place where she would like send the message to guests. The host tried her best to take care of her guests, we can feel that, really warm and sweet. Of course the view is fantastic. If I got opportunity to leave longer at Oban, I will definitely choose The penthouse again.

The apartment was so well appointed and the host had thought of everything. The apartment was full of light and the view fantastic.The little treats that were left were most appreciated.

One bedroom had a very low ceiling on one side of the smaller bedroom so need to be mindful of this. The are a lot of stairs and lugging the luggage up was an effort but they are wide. Going up and down after that was fine.

Well kept penthouse with great views of Oban.

A nice penthouse with great views of Oban. Great job on the finishes. Only a short walk into town. We had no problem finding parking at the rear of the building. The property manager was very responsive and helpful

Granted we seem to have traveled here during a heat wave, but it was hot in the evenings. This comment isn't meant as a negative, but this room is accessed only by stairs on the 4th floor. It may be challenging for some that aren't expecting it. Angled ceilings...watch your head!

A beautiful apartment with stunning views of Oban Bay.

The Penthouse was absolutely stunning. We loved staying here for our wedding weekend. The views from the balcony are just fabulous. Fiona the host had left the most beautiful wedding decor (card/banners/petals/hearts/balloons/fizz/cake!!!) for our arrival. Such a lovely thoughtful touch! The whole apartment is just gorgeous ….the bedrooms are beautiful, the bathroom is stunning, the kitchen/lounge/diner is well thought out and just the most lovely bright,clean,airy space! if you book - you won’t be disappointed!!

As probably been mentioned before - the stairs up to the property are quite a challenge (esp on arrival with heavy suitcases and bags!) -The plus side is that because the apartment is so high up- it allows for the absolutely stunning views!

The appartment is very well maintained with love to each detail. You really feel that the host puts lots of attention to make the stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The view on the Oban bay is fantastic.

The appartment is on 3rd floor with no elevator. But every step is worth to enjoy the great view. Private parking is available behind the building, but it is not ensured to have free space.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay in this property. Just a shame it was for only one night.

Everything was perfect. The host even left milk biscuits and tablet for us. The beds were comfortable. The view was perfect a lovely view of the Sound. An easy walk straight into town. Would definately go again and recommend to friends. The only thing that might be problematic is the flat is on the top floor. A bit of a climb but for two of us in our 70's it was managable.

Beautiful apartment! Lovely view from the balcony. Short walk down to the town centre. The apartment is well stocked with supplies like tea, coffee, toiletries, etc. Plenty of space for up to 6 people. We loved it and would come back again.

There are a few flights of stairs up to the apartment, so it would not be suitable for guests who have difficulty with stairs.

Exceptional

This penthouse was a night stopover before we got the ferry to Mull, it was so lovely, everything was catered for including the dog, with water and treats ready on arrival. There was a welcome basket too with coffee, tea and even antibac hand sanitizer. Water and milk in the fridge with a chocolate each from the local handmade chocolate shop. This place is a must when staying in Oban. I hope to be back.

50 steps to the penthouse!🤣 One thing i would say is that a 10am check out is tight to do all the things the host requested, strip the beds, take all rubbish to bins and recycling to tesco. I appreciate this was brought in for covid reasons, however, we are spending less times in these accommodations and doing more for the owners as you cant check in till 4pm. This is not purely directed at this accommodation it seems to be everywhere. Just an observation. Checkout should be extended to 11am at least.

Fantastic views and beautiful Penthouse!

Fiona’s Penthouse is absolutely stunning! The views are amazing, get there in time to watch the sunset from the balcony, it’s breathtaking! There are so many lovely personal touches as well, everything from bath bombs to hot chocolate, to relaxing pillow spray and pralines. We felt so relaxed and happy and really can’t wait for our next stay! A million thank yous to you Fiona!

Absolutely top-notch!

From the very first contact Fiona was delightful. So friendly, answered all questions, gave us all the information we needed and when she found it out the trip was a birthday celebration she prepared a surprise. One of our party was lactose intolerant and Fiona provided oat milk and dairy free treats without us asking and without charging. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. The kitchen had every utensil, crockery and cookware imaginable. There was a washing machine, microwave, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and Nespresso machine (with instructions) There were also basic cooking ingredients such as oil, seasonings and sauces. The apartment had WiFi, smart TV, DVD, Alexa, Netflix, games and portable Bluetooth speakers. The bathroom has shower and bath and Fiona provided a box of bathroom essentials in case of forgotten items. The bedrooms were cosy and comfortable. There was a hairdryer, laundry basket and clothes drier provided. We took our dog and Fiona provided food and water dishes and treats. There was a hot chocolate station set up on the dining table and the view from the balcony was fabulous. Will absolutely consider here again and I'll recommend to everyone.
