parking was tricky but we made it work, noise level at night (had windows open) - Again, these are issues that all cities deal with and would not deter us from staying there again. We loved it!

Great apartment, and location, but parking can be a problem

I love the space, the colors, the chairs and couch and the kitchen was wonderful. The bright large view in the living room was spectacular. Location right downtown was very convenient to stores and restaurants.

If you’re staying for more than one night parking in Oban can be an exercise in frustration. While free overnight parking is available on the streets, daytime parking is limited to two hours. We were forced to move our car three times to avoid tickets. Even though the Tesco site offers three hour free parking we found that all the available parking spots for extended parking were booked up. To be clear, this is not an issue isolated to this property, this is more a city of Oban parking issue. My advice is side on your parking before hand and pre-book it.

The apartment was so clean and nicely appointed. Loved the marine theme.

We did have some difficulty with the inside door lock, and the stairway and entrance could use a little cleaning, and/or paint, but apt itself was very clean and comfortable.

Great apartment and location!

Nice and spacious apartment with everything that we needed. The location is great and you can literally get to everything you need within a short walk. Unfortunately, our 3-island tour was canceled so we had a full day without plans but the Clamshell was an awesome place to curl up and watch a movie or read a book.

Parking was kind of a pain. The Tesco was full for longer term parking and the meters out front have a max of 2 hours so that wasn’t ideal. Also there’s no lift so 4 seniors getting luggage up 3 flights of stairs was somewhat difficult. The cement and dark/dirty stairs leading up to the apartment lead you to believe the apartment is sketchy but once you get up and in, the apartment is great.

It was clean, modern, very comfortable and had everything we needed, great location for Oban, and close restaurants, pubs and train station, Tesco is only a 2 min walk.

Check out time could be a little later and parking wasn’t great.

Great apartment for a visit to Oban, gateway to the Hebrides.

We were extremely comfortable in The Clamshell. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen compact and well equipped. The location was perfect for seeing everything Oban has to offer. Communication with Eilidh was easy and instructions to get there were simple and precise. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Very good

We had everything we needed, the washing machine was a great bonus. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Great location in the middle of the town but no noise from outside.

The apartment is pretty tiny and basic, also the kitchen. Please be aware there is no parking, we missed this point. But we were able to find free parking in the nearby neighborhood, 7-8 minutes of walking.

Strongly recommended!

Everything is excellent! The room was decorated in an ocean style with great equipment. The living room is nice and warm, good to chill. The bathtub is big enough for even two people to fit. The kitchen is fantastic! With all cookery and cutlery provided, the Nespresso machine is unexpected! But first things first, the cleanness was really nice, which makes me love the place!
