Clean, comfortable and local

Just a couple of minutes walk towards the shops, really clean and comfortable, loved the cute light up signs and the new basketball game. The TV had netflix and prime which was amazing, washing machine and a dishwasher. Highly recommend this flat to stay in.

Bad and stressful experience

At least the host didn’t completely disappear and collecting keys worked ok.

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience for different reasons: - I didn’t get sent information to check-in and had to chase a couple hours before arriving at the apartment to get them. At least the staff was responsive. - Since I got the information sent very late, I also found out too late that by the time I would’ve arrived at the location, the free gym would have already been closed. Unfortunately it isn’t a gym at the location itself, but rather a close-by public gym that the location has a partnership with. Knowing earlier through the Booking page or by receiving information sooner would’ve allowed me to plan my journey accordingly and arrive earlier to make use of the gym. - When I arrived at the location, the room door was already open. I saw lights were left on and the bed was undone. I got worried I was in the wrong place and someone was inside or that something happened to the previous host. I closed the door again and knocked but since nobody was answering I went in and noticed the apartment was dirty and left untouched after the last host. I wasn’t able to use the apartment in that state so got in touch with the host but they weren’t as responsive and reactive as before. Panicking a bit because it was already 5-6 in the eve and it was getting late in case I had to find another solution, I contacted Booking customer service who helped me get a hold of the hosts. They provided me with another apartment in the same building. - The new apartment, unfortunately, wasn’t as equipped as the one I’ve booked said - no hairdryer, no iron for clothes. I struggled as well with central heating not turning on (only managed to turn on a little heater in the bedroom but wasn’t enough to warm up the whole apartment) and wifi connection instructions. The host was available to help me solve issues with the wifi. - I also requested an invoice when booking the property and had to chase multiple times for that to be prepared and delivered.

Disgusting

Very poorly cleaned, if it was even cleaned. Blood all over the walls, broken equipment, very unwelcoming. When reported to the host, I was told that this was “wear and tear” and he refuses to give me my money back. I travelled with my husband and baby and does not understand that these conditions are not suitable for anyone. This can not be corrected in a day, this is a general problem that the accommodation has and should be rectified. It is not worth the money nor the rating it has.

Really clean, good cheap parking near by, smooth process checking in and great location for Mattioli arena.

Impressive decor and central location ideally suited for 2 person's stay.

Property location is quite central which makes very easy commute. Inside decor is quite hotel style and ideally suited for 2 person's stay.

We booked this place for 3 however there was no bed ready for the third person. There were extra bed and pillows but those were without any cover. Property has old style hot water tank and it made difficult to get the hot water with right temperature.

Owner was bery helpful and very clean and comfy bed

The flat was immaculate and had a lovely kitchen and bathroom. The owner was helpful with us staying a little longer when we were leaving, as my daughter had an interview. We don’t know the city and didn’t use the gym as it wasn’t in the building. It was not far from the centre. On a busy road.

It was flats where people obviously live full time and I did worry they wouldn’t be happy strangers were coming in the building.

Absolutely everything. I arrived and the apartment was fabulous. Beautifully clean and amazing decor. The host was one of the best i have come across in ages. I will definitely book again. 10/10. The bed was heavenly and the bathroom was lush too.

Amazing Value for Money and Good Coffee

First of all Amazing Value for Money! LOCATION: Border of city centre which is amazing because its quiet at night ( I don't mind noise of the road, quite the opposite :)) and close to town day time:)) I value being close to town centre but I absolutely hate shouting drank Zombies and this apartment is an Absolute Gem, the area wrongly considered as rough part of Leicester as worse experiences you will get in the heart of Town,Leicester is Special and Notorious in its Nightlife, truly awefull experience. Even if you like clubbing.. . Nottingham seem to be more civilised and I stayed in the heartof Nottingham many times.. But I diversified.. BUILDING : EasyAccess from the main road, secure entrance, clean building and good directions from the owner, that were sent in a timely and professional manner. Coming of the lift to the apartment may appear as being in a maze if you don't pay attention :) For me it was part of experience hehe APARTMENT: lovely fresh smell as soon a you enter, Very clean and beautifully decorated, I particularly liked the led lights in both rooms:). LONG BATH:)) MODERN AND DRY BATHROOM OVERALL. The property was excellent for a one bed apartment. The building is a bit of a maze, but doesn't take away from the apartment.

Smells like stale smoke and very noisy

There was clearly thought in the layout

It smelt so strongly of stale smoke in all the rooms apart from the bathroom - which smelt damp and mouldy. I washed my hair in the evening and the next day it smelt horrible. As someone who doesn’t smoke, it was really unpleasant Appreciate it’s not the host’s fault but the neighbours were so noisy, people shouting at each other at all points of the night so it felt really unsafe, especially as the top lock was broken on the door. The pillows were terrible

Amazing little flat

The flat was very clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished. The plug in air fresheners meant that it always smelt quite sweet. Bedding was comfortable and kitchen was large and well equipped. A microwave would be a nice addition and take the kitchen to a new level but there’s more than enough to get by for a few days. Parking is right outside and easily accessible. Communication with the owner was always very quick and easy and they were more than happy to answer any questions or concerns that I had.

Comfortable and clean! Would recommend

Very clean and the property was well looked after. Comfortable bed and really friendly hosts. Nice and warm with a modern bathroom and kitchen. Would recommend! Decently priced. There is an NCP car park right outside the property, less than £6 to park there for 24 hours.

The building itself was run down but once you get into the property its absolutely fine Not necessarily a con but something to bear in mind - no microwave however there's a perfectly working hob to warm up food
