Clean and comfortable

The fact I only got 2 sachets of coffee and 2 teabags, I drink more coffee than tea but there's was only 2 pots of milk , the TV wasn't connected to a aireal so couldn't watch TV. I got back from an event I'd helped at to find another guest outside having a smoke and he'd locked us out and the door panel locked out, so I had to get hold of the only number we had but they didn't answer, so I left message on booking.com and then someone answered my next call, all sorted and door open again, I gets into my room to find replies from guest house saying it's all sorted and that they finish at 21.00hrs, that's fine everyone has a finish time, but then have someone on standby incase of emergencies like this, to me it's like we've had ya money we ain't bothered now

The room is smaller than the picture

The room was modest in size. I had expected to have to use a shared bathroom but in fact, perhaps by luck, got a room with an on-suite bathroom, which was great - very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. The room had a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee and tea and an iron and ironing board. Access was easy and worked straightforwardly. Good location opposite the park and very near a good pub. Seemed like very good value for money.

The bed filled most of the room, so not much working space. Otherwise not much to complain about - expected less quality for the price.

The location was relatively close to the station and O2 Academy, which we were visiting for a concert. Host provided access information that was clear. The bed was comfortable and the shower acceptable. The room was clean and well laid out.

The blinds in the room were very poor for keeping out the morning light, so challenging in the summer months. One of the blinds was "broken" and I repaired it, else the sun would have been shining in my eyes in the morning. The cleaning of the shower did not extend to the shower head, so many of the nozzles were blocked and needed to be unblocked. The smoke alarm had been removed. The locks to get into the building and apartment were fiddly to use, even when following the instructions. No soap in the bathroom. Complimentary biscuits were stale.
