Arrived Key not in the lock box so could not get in. Owners not answering ring door bell. The telephone number messaged to me was to a man who said he has nothing to with property. I went back into booking where another number was I called it twice no answer by now kids crying. Try 3rd time they anwser no apology just gave me another code for a different box. Finally got in after 45 mins. Whole place smelt like curry. No take away so not because of that. Kitchen filthy half eaten jars of food, Fridge had food in a stank. Bins not emptied, dirty cups in the sink. Bread bin filthy, Dirty half filled cups and bottles in the lounge. One of the bedroom lights didn’t work. Pitch black so couldn’t use. All beds looked slept in. One of the beds had crumbs in. Tooth brushes and half used bottles on the shower. Bath room bin with rubbish in. Bathroom cupboard dirty. It looked like they had double booked and that why the key wasn’t there. Didn’t feel safe patio door locked couldn’t get out curtains there, so only exit was front door. Called the host not helpful or apologetic just said oh ok and that was literally it. I took my kids and booked in to another property in Leicester and left. When. I told owner it wasn’t clean and wouldn’t be staying due to the above the Owner said she would put me as a no show and booking.com will deal with it. I wasn’t a no show and told her I wasn’t happy with her doing that. She didn’t reply

A fantastic stay in a well-equipped property with a great location and very accommodating hosts.

Fantastic property with all the facilities exactly as expected. The hosts were very accommodating and kindly allowed an earlier check-in, which was much appreciated. The location is excellent – the city centre is not far away, Abbey Park is within easy walking distance, and having an Aldi right on the doorstep is incredibly convenient. Would happily stay here again.
