Would not recommend; very dodgy

The central location was very convenient, the room was mostly clean when I arrived although it did smell like damp.

Pretty much everything else was poor. I felt extremely unsafe during my entire stay due to the amount of incidents that went on every night. There were fights and people constantly trying to break into the building. People smoking and propping doors open so anyone could get in. It was horrible. I didn’t sleep for the whole of my stay because I was constantly woken up by a ruckus going on. No basic things I would expect like extra pillows, kettle, hair dryer or iron. Broken towel rail, tiles on the bathroom floor and holes in the wall.

Can't fault the location. The host sent detailed and clear instructions. However, see below.

Access to the property should have been easy, given the host's clear and detailed instructions, and the electronic keypads. However, the keypad to our room was not correctly programmed and caused a 20-min delay to us getting access to the room. The housekeeper was sent and was moderately helpful, eventually sorting the issue, but this should have been easily avoided. More inconvenient was the shower. The water flow dial was very badly stuck and it took a ridiculous amount of brute effort to get the shower to turn on and off. The host, who'd previously been very responsive, did not reply to messages asking for advice re the shower and we were left to sort it ourselves. The room was mostly very clean, aside from a couple of stray hairs on the bedsheets.

The place was not maintained to even basic standards. The heater did not work the entire night, and we were literally shivering due to the cold. The next morning, the shower was also not working. On top of that, there was significant fungus growth in the bathroom, making it unhygienic and unusable—we could not use the bathroom for the duration of our stay. When I raised these issues, the host acted as if he had never received such complaints before. No real action was taken to address the bathroom or shower problems; the only response was leaving a spare heater the following day, which was far too late and did not resolve the main concerns. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. Given the poor maintenance and lack of proper response, I intend to file an official complaint.

Heating was on a timer and didn’t come on till morning so was freezing rest of time Floor was dirty Shower is horrendous shower head doesn’t stay up and the on and off for shower is too hard to turn so was pretty much unusable. Internet is really bad keeps going off

Good location for my needs. The communal kitchen with kettle and cooking facility was OK.,

Very poor standard of accommodation. Wrongly described as Deluxe double room, basic size double bed, up against one wall. Like repurposed student digs. En suite shower /WC needed deep clean, WC seat broken. Stale mouldy bread in the kitchen cupboard allocated to my room. Main entry door to the rooms had broken glass. Wifi non existent, no signal for mobile phone to contact 'landlord'.

Worth the first visit but never again

Ensuite was nice, clean, door locks made us feel safe.

The walls are thin, the other guests were loud and constantly slamming doors, the church bells kept going crazy and it is very inconvenient as a smoker

I liked the location and instructions.

The room was very hot and had no way of cooling down. The sheets weren't fresh and had stains on them. The location being good made it very loud around the area so the surrounding area had bottles crashing at night and church bells going off in the morning.

False Advertising & Dangerous Mould on Ceiling

No Antenna for TV, Mould in Hallway on Ceiling. Bathroom door didn’t shit properly, light switch in kitchen loose. Shower holder also broken. Also this has a SHARED kitchen not an apartment

There was mould ... in room and outside corridors ... filthy bedding ...filthy scurting I have pictures the smell was unbearable

The location was very central

The bedsheets, mattress and duvet were soiled to some degree so we to go and buy our own sheets. I still felt uncomfortable sleeping in the bed so slept on the desk chair! And the property/ room smelt of marijuana even when the windows were open.

Bed was VERY uncomfortable 😐 Strong smell in the toliet Woken up with a knock on my door at 5.00am from guests who couldn't get into there room when they finally got in, they were very loud. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything
