I booked one double room but the hotel upgraded me to two singles. Other things I liked were good breakfast, especially the croissant was excellent, shuttle bus service to the airport at reasonable price. Everything was above average and the hotel well worth a 4-star rating.

Hotel easy to find off main road. Reception friendly, efficient and helpful. Lift useful. Room spotless and big. Bathroom spotless shower hot but maybe not as powerful as could be. Breakfast in dining room with lovely wall Muriel cold meats, cheeses, cereal, egg, bacon, pastry, tea and coffee

Hotel was vey traditional and in a great location, and easy walk to the centre of Pisa. Room was spotlessly clean and all of the amenities you would require, Breakfast was buffet style and was excellent, lots of choice. Would definitely stay again!!

Location was good and staff very friendly. It’s a cute hotel and we liked it. Our room however was not great because it was extremely cold, the radiator in the bathroom wasn’t working, and we had to get two additional thick blankets to try to sleep somewhat comfortably. I recommend you ask the hotel for a room they know for sure stays warm when it’s cold outside.

Lovely hotel with character that is 10 mins walk from train station My single room was small but had a safe, kettle, fridge and air con. Staff were very pleasant and efficient Would highly recommend, and i will stay here again

Nice big room, wonderful staff. They went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was included and after the chef served a wonderful frittatta, he drove the hotel's airport shuttle van. Great location. Parking is a bit tricky.

A very traditional Hotel. Lovely big room (Triple)and nice hot shower with good pressure.Big comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit limited but delicious cakes and croissants especially the Pistachio one. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice stay at Hotel Bologna with walking distance over the river to all the Restaurants and cafe. Also walked to tower and cathedral. Breakfast was really good with plenty variety and room was clean and well serviced. Only downside for us was no outside window to open (our window opened into a small internal courtyard which was also accessed by a window off the hallway of the first floor so it didn’t feel safe to leave open in the day or night) and it was also noisy in early morning from surrounding rooms. Apart from those two things it was a good hotel.

My husband and I had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable. The garden terrace was lovely to sit and have a glass of wine. The shuttle service to the airport was great.

The Hotel is in a very convenient location in a quiet area but just minutes from the main shopping area, bars and restaurants. The Leaning tower is about a 15 minute walk away. The room was clean with a huge bathroom, however the bed was not that comfortable. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Nice hotel conveniently situated near the station. Staff could not be more helpful. Lots of restaurants etc nearby. Spacious room, perhaps a little tired. Two problems, only one electric socket, and inadequate shower.

This may be a 4* by Italian standards but do not expect it to match a British 4*. Rooms were very dated (plug in air freshener?), toilet seat loose, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, the tiniest corner shower (water was lovely and hot though). Our main gripes though were with the bed which was embarrassingly noisy with creaking springs. Hands down the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had. Also there was just a top sheet and a decorative throw which clearly hadn’t been washed between guests as it smelled musty and of someone’s aftershave. The blanket in the cupboard also smelled musty and we were not inclined to use it. This meant we slept using just the top sheet, which was ok as it was still quite warm but if it was cooler it would have been a problem. Evening meal in the restaurant was also a major disappointment with the pizza being horribly overproved, it was thick, tasteless and virtually impossible to cut. My husband left over 3/4 of it but the waitress just whisked it away without so much as a ‘was everything ok.’ We were just too dog tired to complain and being the last day of our European holiday just wanted to sleep (ha!) before our early flight back the next morning, Positives: transfer to the airport was €7.50 each and saved us dragging our cases to the train station. Location was also good. There is a distinct lack of good hotels in Pisa so I would strongly recommend staying somewhere like Florence and taking a day trip in.

The hotel provides parking for $15 Euro a day and its location is walking distance to most popular attractions. Breakfast was eclectic and fresh. The staff in all facets of jobs, were helpful and professional. I’d stay there again!

Location perfect for main sights and station. Hotel offers transport to airport which was goid. Triple room was spacious but a little dated. Would have preferred a duvet on bed rather than sheet and blanket. Food ok, pastries for breakfast were lovely. Evening meal options limited but plenty of restaurants over the bridge.
