The description of the property was accurate and was clean and welcoming. Unfortunately, our sleep was disturbed evening (11.30 pm) and morning (6.00 am) by the noise of water in the sinks and showers from adjoining rooms, and on the first morning by housekeeping coming into the room whilst still in bed. (8.00 am)

NO bar staff ( honesty bar whats all that about ) Lovely conservatory and garden which nobody used while we were there. I know the economy is struggling but at the prices charged per night more staff required

Such a friendly, clean and comfortable place to spend the weekend within easy walking distance to the town and seafront. Our room was lovely and clean and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and we had everything we needed. The perfect place to spend a couple of relaxing nights away.

Staff were excellent and even though it is dog friendly it did not smell of dogs. There are hens in the garden for fresh eggs. Would certainly stay again. It is a very short walk to the seafront so ideal if you like swimming in the sea.

A lovely hotel with period features. A high standard of housekeeping and an excellent breakfast. Our only regret was that we were only there for one night.
