Blue Ball Inn

Super clean and friendly. Food was good and great portions sizes. Lovely staff. Room was very comfortable with everything you could want or need. Great location. Special shout out to the gardener who was careful not to startle me whilst I was having my first coffee of the day after the England v. Mexico match 😊

Absolutely fabulous pub near Sidmouth. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy, our room was incredible with all of the necessary amenities - it even had a fan, so we slept very well despite being warm outside. The staff were incredible and very dog friendly. We got stranded in Sidmouth after learning taxis aren't usually around in the evening (clearly, we're from out of town) and the staff offered to pick up my old mother-in-law and husband (thank you, Issy!).

Friendly staff, clean room that was serviced daily §, food in the restaurant was lovely and really close to the donkey sanctuary which was the main reason for our visit.

Food maybe took a little too long to be served when we had dinner and the room was a little on the small side.

Good location

Limited amount of food available from evening menu and what we had was not particularly edible. The menu contained items that werent available. Lamb and pasta was off..in the end had fish and chips and ham egg and chips! Ham hock was inedible. Bloaters chip shop would have been better and cheaper. No atmosphere in the bar only one beer available on arrival..went to the Rising Sun which was cheaper and much better for a few drinks. On arrival tv did not work in room, so had to ask manager for help. Also had to create a sky wifi account to access wifi after asking at reception. Also on arrival, we accidentally went in to the bar area that did not allow dogs. The reception we had was not welcoming because of this. All in all, it was not a good stay and we felt we were an inconvenience.
