The location is great. The room was clean. Staff are very friendly.
The shower slider was broken and loose, stuck at the lowest setting

The staff were very welcoming and our room was available upon arrival. The room was facing the sea and was very clean, with there being all the usual extras, teas, coffee and biscuits. The shower was hot with a lovely gel. Whilst only a small point, it was great to be open the windows to allow a constant flow of fresh air, too many hotels have sealed windows or small openings, with the need to use air conditioning! A great breakfast with a fine choice of both continental or cooked. For a hotel right on the seafront, Dukes ticked the boxes for us.

Perfect location
We arrived at 8.30pm after a long journey and were told the kitchen was already closed! We went out to find dinner, came back for a drink at the bar and very soon after we were about to order another drink only to be told the bar was closed!! At 10.15pm? On a Friday night? For hotel guests?!
