Very enjoyable short break.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were lovely and we had a balcony and sea view. The restaurant and coffee/bar area were comfortable and service was good. Very good position, close to see and town centre. Very gluten free friendly 😀

Absolutely lovely I traveled on my own , lovely welcome and breakfast explained for next day also late night entry to hotel. Room was number 35 lovely attic room bed was comfy, room had everything I needed and a fantastic view of the sea. Tea coffee facilities ok, bathroom clean , lift to all floors , breakfast was a good choice of menu , I had full English really hot , fresh. Overall great location, high standard and comfy room will definitely stay there again

Excellent location , friendly and approachable team of people .

We had never been to Sidmouth and so we booked this at last minute. We felt very welcomed by the team of people . I thought that Fatima was particular helpful , sharing insights to places to see . I felt she was genuinely pleased to meet us and made sure that we had all the new essay information etc . The room had a sea view which was really important to us and we would always pay the extra to have this . The bathroom looked liked it was recently decorated but it wasn’t a power shower .the hotel was part of the group with Kindswood and Dukes which we did have drinks etc in both venues. Plenty of staff !

Great location next to sea and town - see photos showing view from bedroom 11 - but the rooms are average.

Location and price £405 for 3 nights double sea view b&b.

Very small shower. Wooden head board / prefer soft when reading in bed. Bedside lighting location a bit awkward. No plug points by bed to charge phone - I listen to radio on my phone in bed so location not convenient.

Lovely hotel on the seafront and very close to the town giving the best of both worlds.

Lovely location. Staff very pleasant. Supplies in the room were generous and good quality.

Evening dinner menu was a bit strange and limited but due to the location of the hotel it’s very easy to find alternatives. Pillows were like rocks!!

The staff and decor were outstanding

The window on seafront room was letting wind in around the edges. Unfortunately there was a storm so the noise was quite bad. The mattress and pillows could have been better. The breakfast was delicious!

Lack of parking spaces could potentially cause problems for some visitors. We were lucky enough to find a space directly outside the hotel.

Would definitely stay here again!

Family group booking to celebrate a special occasion - mums 80th birthday celebration! A party of 6 for a 2 night weekend stay. All the rooms we booked were lovely….mum had a sea view which was gorgeous. Location was great. It was fab to have parking and somewhere to leave mums mobility scooter. The breakfast was superb! All the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the extra little touches to mark the special occasion. Thanks to everyone at the hotel! We’d definitely visit again

Very good restfull holiday, just what we needed

Hotel in good position, quick and easy to get to beach, but enjoyed watching local. Activities whilst drinking our coffee on our balcony. Everything needed in the room but not far from shops, for our retail therapy too. What more can you ask for

The staff are friendly and attentive at all levels. We arrived far too early to check in, but were told the room was available if we like.

The bed was smaller than what was listed on booking.com but they quickly rectified this and got us another room.

Thoroughly enjoyable place to stay - check car parking availability

It’s a very Well run establishment and good breakfast. The location is great - right on the esplanade so had great views. Particularly for the Air Display at the Regatta Staff are all really friendly, kind and professional. Nice to see.

It’s not clear on Booking .com or hotels website that parking space is limited and needs to be reserved. It is free but at busy times you may not get a space. There is a car park about 100 Metres away £15 for 24 hours. Some areas, some furnishings and outside balconies could do with a bit of a touch up before it gets too tired looking.

Fabulous location and excellent staff which made for a great stay

The staff were all super friendly & smartly dressed. The hotel is right on the seafront and a few steps from the beach, shops, pubs & restaurants. Breakfast was really lovely and the food service at breakfast was really quick,even though they were fully booked. I’d definitely stay here again.

It was a little noisy at night as our room faced the esplanade. I think this was mainly because it was folk festival week and it didn’t affect our overall enjoyment but might be something to bear in mind if you’re booking for the folk festival.
