Nice comfortable room and very good location. Staff were friendly and the owner gave us a quick tour as well on arrival .. Breakfast was very good … We loved the gardens and chickens .

What lovely building much larger than it looks from the outside decoration inside is very homely beautiful furnishings throughout always clean & tidy with a lovely garden & a roomy conservatory The host & staff are just lovely made us feel very comfortable with service & like we belonged there very relaxing stay definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed
If I had to nick pick a little larger sink in bathroom But It wasn’t a major issue as stay was wonderful

The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious for a single. There was a small balcony overlooking the lovely garden and I loved the chickens who were able to roam freely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the furnishings modern. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the serving staff very friendly and efficient.
There was no fresh milk for tea in your room. No towel rail in the bathroom. Several small flights of stairs which made getting a heavy suitcase up and down difficult.

For the money, the breakfast was disappointing. Very basic but not what you’d expect for £275 a night.
There were no staff visible on Sunday evening, the bar worked on an honesty system which, once we got the bill (£16.50 for a bottle of cider, a can of Sprite and some nuts!) made us reconsider our ethical stance!!!
