Great location and beautiful views from the terrace. Fabulous spot for lunch or just a drink in the sunshine.
Restaurant food was very nice and well presented.
It was very hot in the room ( we had a courtyard room ) as no air conditioning. Given the star rating and quality of this hotel I would have thought this should be considered.

Great location
There was a wedding there on Saturday but the trouble started on the Friday afternoon where the guests started to arrive. It was very noisy in the bar area and took time to get our drinks where I felt hotel guests should have got priority. We were unable to stay in the bar area and have a quiet drink to read our books because of the noise and it wasn’t just us that were forced to move. Then when we came down for our evening meal we originally sat by the window and had to move because of the noise and overall rowdiness, shouting across the room with not a care in the world. We also told the waiter we had moved expecting our food to be brought to the right table instead it was taken to where we were originally sitting and eaten by them and had to say again that we had not received our starter! Not only that, they were smoking/vaping in the restaurant and surrounding areas where this I thought was a no smoking hotel! We could not enjoy our meal and had to move fairly quickly because of the noise! Unable to stay around the bar area and enjoy a drink after our meal we had to return to our room. We avoided the hotel all day and evening on the Saturday as we knew what it would be like and when we returned we were not wrong. It was such a lovely day but we were unable to enjoy the terrace as the wedding guests had taken over. I can understand people want to enjoy a wedding but I felt it would have been better suited if they had their own separate area. Finally I paid for a superior double with a balcony but was really disappointed with the balcony as it was about the size of a postage stamp with a wooden partition that needed a lick of paint and the patron set was wet and didn’t dry out the whole time we were there. We spoke to a couple of guests outside the hotel and they were say the same as us. We have stayed at the Harbour Spa Hotel a few times and not had any issues before, but overall this has tainted out opinion and may think twice again about returning their.
