Royal Glen

Great location with ample free parking, and close to the beach. The room was immaculate and quiet. In all very relaxing, and the service at the bar from Mike was excellent, as well as reception staff. We had a lovely evening meal although we decided to eat out on the terrace and not in the restaurant due to the glorious weather. Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Staff were lovely, room was small, especially the bathroom but nice, nice and quiet, great location 5 mins walk to the beach. The only bad thing was my other half had breakfast and said not nice was overcooked. And limited parking but right outside so that’s a bonus

Room spacious, lovely clean bathroom. Breakfast fresh to order. I have coeliac disease so they provided me with a gluten free cereal. All the staff were very helpful. We travelled by train so no need for parking but there was ample space. Few minutes walk from the seafront. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

I have stayed at the Royal Glen several times now. I don’t stay in the hotel much because I love Sidmouth so go out all day but I have breakfast at the Hotel and go back in the evening. I usually have a standard room but this time treated us to a suite and it was lovely. There is enough parking although you do need to be careful as it is a small site. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely, you can request slight changes to what is listed on the menu. There is a buffet breakfast also with fruit, cereal, yoghurt, hot drinks and fruit juice. The hotel is well kept and clean.
