The room was spacious and the bed clean and comfy. The owner was very nice.

The owner was pleasant and the breakfast had a good variety of selections.

Parking was a bit of a problem.

Would like to say a thank you to Andrew for making us feel welcome in his guest house.

The location was perfect, appropriately a forty minute walk to sidmouth seafront through the beautiful byes. The room we stayed in was fine with clean linen. The bathroom was clean, we were very lucky that we didn’t have to share it as we were the only one’s staying there at that time. Breakfast was cereals, toast, croissants and fruit which was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.

There isn’t any parking at this guest house, though there are several side rides that you are able to park in

Just what i needed. I would recommend.

I had cycled 130 miles from Fareham in Hampshire and needed an overnight stay before heading back the following day. I arrived late and was cold and tired. My host met me at the door and quickly made me a large mug of warm tea. Just what i needed. The accommodation was homely and i was made to feel very welcome. I had a lovely hot bath before retiring to bed as an early morning start beckoned. I slept like a baby and left well rested and ready for my return journey.

Very pleasant and helpful owner. Good location for what we needed, and locally available parking. Continental Breakfast left out to serve ourselves, which was fine, and kitchen available gor guests' use.

Bedroom beside busy road was not ideal, but fairly quiet at night. Everything else at least "good".

Be warned you might be asked to bring your own bedding for a child.

Beware you might be told if travelling with a child that you should have brought your own bedding! This was even though we had selected the correct occupation for the room on booking.com of 2 adults and one child. Worse was the response form the management who blamed auto responses from booking.com for confirming our booking of one child and two adults. The response to provide the extra bedding we required was surly. They knew we had arrived with a 10 year old child and the person showing us our room promised to sort out the missing bedding but four hours later nothing had been done and when we approached the manager she initially still refused/was very off hand. On the plus side the breakfast was fine in the morning. Also the room itself was fine.

Bed was too soft for me.

Not up to any basic standard for a holiday B&B

location was good for our needs. the house was quiet.

The room smelled very musty, used toiletries from previous guests left out to be reused, such as bar soap, toothpaste and mouthwash. Thick soap scum in sink, rusted waste bin, old worn down towels. The bedroom door lock is a fire hazard, we got locked in and couldn’t get out. Tried for several minutes. Almost started banging on the door. Unacceptable. We booked in for three nights, but left after the first.

A friendly welcome by hosts who were helpful and made us feel comfortable. A relaxed stay.Thank you.

The breakfast was excellent......large choice of cereal and breads/croissants, jam, honey,marmalade. Fruit juice and the usual coffee/tea. One thing to suggest.....only skimmed milk available, not even semi skimmed which we drink and quite a difference between them! Good, clean bathrooms with bath/shower. Able to make tea/coffee in kitchen in the evening.

Will mention that the property is on the side of a fairly busy road, and although we were fortunate to have a good sized room, with lovely large windows, the traffic noise was evident. We had the window open due to hot weather, but after busy days at the Sidmouth Festival we slept well!

Outstandingly friendly

The most wonderful friendly atmosphere I have ever encountered in. BnB, welcoming us to share own kitchen , a bath..what a luxury , Lorette gave me some very special advise regard to a matter in the hospital where she works, I ciukd have my breakfast early to go by bus to the excellent Swimming pool at Sidmouth .I enjoyed drinking my early cuppa out in their garden . Andrew escorted me to the cash machine in the excellent village shop. Kilreany is on the 9 bus route to Sidmouth and a lovely walk through the Byes down to the sea. I shall be back!

Next time, I shall bring my secateurs and help in your garden !

We really enjoyed it.

Very friendly welcome. I loved the breakfast. Location is excellent, a lovely traffic free walk into Sidmouth starts just over the road.

Might be worth advising guests of a good parking place, opposite the Nissan garage.We tried several side roads first without success.

It was a nice guest house in a great location . The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We had full use of the kitchen and breakfast was all laid out ready for us in the morning which was nice.

It suited my needs but for the price I was a little surprised at the initial dreariness of the accom

Location was fine , I was attending a workshop in Beer. Continental breakfast offered several options. House on a major through road but parking available in side roads so no cost involved or timings to accommodate. Friendly reception.

The bedroom was a little soulless. Teasmaid available but no welcome tea/coffee tray. Mishmash of bedding, non matching and un ironed but the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom door wouldn't remain closed so I felt inclined to have it locked.

ideal location for Sidmouth area

although a continental breakfast a variety of cereals on offer along with bread and jams ideal for what we wanted very comfy bed and reasonable sized room The owners made us feel at home we would definetly use it again if we were in the area

Although we had been made aware parking would be in the local side streets it is normally more convenient to be parked at property but we found a spot nearby which was suitable as it happened

Goede tussenstop voor bemodderde fietsen.

Vriendelijke eigenaar. Mogelijkheid om fietsen te wassen in de tuin en om de fietsen op een veilige plek te plaatsen. Tegen de verwachting in stond er in de keuken ontbijt klaar dat we mochten nuttigen.
