the tv did not work told the host and he bought me a big wide screen one to replace it with all the chanels on like netfix prime etc so very impressed got into wensday on netflix which i did not have at home the garden was great and quiet he let me use bread and milk which was good easy to get key just ask for code nice view from window able to use fridge microwave toster etc nice quiet area host pleasant not in your face
the property is not in sidmouth its in SIDFORD why cant booking . com ever get the location right SIDFORD is at least 40 minutes away the bus service is not too good and on the weekend is always worse 9a does it if you cant get that one forget it ok the area is nice but its too far out unless you got a car i dont drive you cant get a return on bus its three pound where ever you go no cheap fare however it was a nice walk through the park to town centre with a nice brook running through it so not all bad

Good location, competitive price, friendly host, breakfast cereals and tea, simple, but everything I needed.
Just one thing- my window couldn't be opened as it was jammed. I was given a fan, but really prefer fresh air at night.

- Extremely comfortable mattress and duvet. All with protectors on.
- Fantastic to be able to use the kitchen and garden. Absolutely wonderful!
- A nice, thoughtful breakfast with branded and good quality items.
- Generous sized room with a TV.
- Nice to be able to use the upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room.
- Powerful shower.
- Lovely village location and plenty close enough to Sidmouth for driving and a beautiful walk for those willing and able.
- Unlimited parking in the street nearby.
- Noisy at the front which is unfortunately where the twin room is.
- Windows broken down and only 1 of the 2 windows opened.
- Blinds are a good idea but curtains needed to block the light around the edges.
- Hot water ran out when the second person went to shower.
- Dates not checked on breakfast items so we had a half loaf of very mouldy, green bread which was 10 days out of date. (Stayed the 14th and the date on the bread was the 4th)
- Some dirty marks on the bedding, making us question if they'd been washed before our stay.
