We loved everything about this place. The host went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome and we were well catered for. Amazing communication too. The room itself was spacious and very clean. The property is well located, with many nice bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and historical buildings close by plus the funicular which is a 30 second walk. Would highly recommend!

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a city view. The listing stated private bathroom, which it had, but you had to leave the apartment to get to the bathroom, which wasn't convenient in the middle of the night. The property is very dated and although it had a full kitchen with a cooker and dishwasher, it didn't have a kettle. There was a central kettle for shared use in the entrance to the apartments. I found these two aspects odd and inconvenient. Other than that, it was a good price, it's well located, close to the funicular and walkable to everywhere in Bergamo Citta Alta.

Ideal location, close to all the centre of Città Alta. Good facilities with access to shared fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Lovely host who replied very promptly and helpfully to all our questions. Good access to public transport. We had a great stay in Città Alta everyone was very friendly. It is a beautiful place to visit with a fascinating history and fabulous views. One of our most relaxing holidays.

The place is in the middle of the old town, which is a perfect location. I also have to appreciate the super-friendly owner/provider who helped me accommodate and explained everything. My bathroom was not within my room, but the bathroom was private (just for my room), so no big deal. The place can also be a bit noisy, but that is the tax for being in the centre of the old town.

The host of the apartment - Paola - was above and beyond helping with parking, check in and unloading our bags. The apartment itself is in good shape and has everything one could wish for a share stay. The only issue for us was the fact that it’s on two levels and we had an 85 year old with us and staircase was not easy for her. Other than that - perfect stay.

Very comfy and clean, right in the old city. The host was very easy to contact, which was helpful for check-in. The apartment was really comfortable, beds were great. The only challenge was our room was directly above a university bar hangout, and there was quite a bit of street noise 9:30 pm- 12:30 am both weekday nights we were there. For parents with young kid, it was not the best, which is why I marked down on comfort. For a younger couple, it may be great. I am not sure the noise was usual, if you are concerned, just contact the host. She was fantastic.

The Citta Alta in Bergamo was a tricky place to navigate in a car, and we had difficulty finding the hotel. We were kindly rescued by the Manager, Patrizia, who asked what we were near, and walked to find us, and directed us to a parking garage and the hotel. She and Christina were valuable resources. Our room was spacious and clean and the hotel location was perfect for exploring the Citta Alta.

This apartment is gorgeous and is in one of the best positions in Bergamo to enjoy all the city has to offer. Spotlessly clean and good provision for kitchen use were just some of the attributes. Those with big luggage will appreciate the elevator even though Sofia is in a historic building. 50 metres from the funicula whose down station is 10m from bus 1A which runs into the CBD and more excellent shopping, restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in central location in the old town of Sirmione. We arrived by car and prior to our stay were provided with a parking permit for the duration which was around a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Room was clean and beds comfortable would definatly stay here again

The apartment is in a brilliant location. It is spacious and clean and Patrizia was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if back in Bergamo.
