The location was great, just a 15 min walk to city center. The staff were very nice and had a great communication. The room was very clean, comfortable and had a great coffee station for our mornings.

The shower could get a little upgrade, since there were some black mold spots. Other than that, all perfect!

Very enjoyable and easy.

Clean and had everything I needed. Air con was great and cooled room down in minutes. As a solo female traveller felt safe, in a safe area. Close enough to tourist sights but peaceful area. Supermarket and bus stop 2 minutes away. Online check in was good as dud not gave to worry about time of arrival.

The arrow on the gate confused me as to where the entrance to apartments was.. you go through the gate!

Not an ideal start to my stay. Not ideal for solo travellers.

Loved the area, very safe. Walkable to the old town,. On good bus routes. Conad Supermarket 10-minute walk away in Via Garibaldi. Good bed in the room I booked not in the one I had to spend the first night in.

Was told at very short notice that the room I'd booked back on 2nd February 2025 was no longer available for my 1st night - no explanation given. Expressed my disappointment via Booking.com messages and asked why - twice! Got no response. Was offered breakfast on the first morning - 3 pre-packed bakery items and coffee. Inadequate compensation in my opinion. Was told I was being put somewhere closeby for the first night, in another guest house run by the same family. Bed was awful and noisy restaurant on the ground floor below me. Asked in the morning why I didn't get the room I had booked and paid for and was told it had been something wrong with "the system". Next morning I discovered my original room had been occupied the night before. I ended up leaving my luggage in the room I'd booked though it hadn't been cleaned by 12.30 p.m. despite check-out time of 10.30 a.m. All in all, not a good start to my first attempt at solo travel. Someone was given preference over me and I'd love to know why. The reception is not in the B&B ViA Diaz but in another street, so you are very much on your own with no communal areas.

The virtual key is a great thing, but it would be nice, if there can be description, where exactly is the door, that should be opened by it. We were standing on correct address by incorrect door. We tried to call 3 different number, nobody picked up. Owners came back to us after almost 1 hour, we managed to get in by that time. Corrosion in the bathroom In the morning there was a indefinity noise since like 6 AM, so we could not sleep. Different information about check out and wifi in the booking and in the virtual key link.

No clean towels the 3 nights I stayed. Self check in so a bit difficult to find if you're staying in the apartments and not the bnb. I had to contact the owner to pay the city tax.

The room was clean and comfortable, ideal for a short staying in Bergamo. Not far from the city center (15-20 min on foot) and accessible by public transportation. The host was really kind and accessible to reply in all of our questions. I highly recommend the place.

nice location, easy check-in procedure with no need to meet the hosts, secluded, a small garden out front.

barely any sunlight, the windows are covered, some stuff requires repairing and looks messy. I chose this property because of early check-in, since I was arriving at 7 in the morning and wanted to get some sleep before going to explore the city. instead of informing me that it was impossible in advance, the responsible person checked me in, and I arrived into an absolutely dirty apartment. when I messaged them to know what the matter was, they told me that the previous guests left too late and the cleaning wasn’t able to do their job. then he came into the apartment and told me “well it is how it is, but you can relax and drink some coffee…(meanwhile all the coffee was drunk by the previous tenants and the cups were all dirty)…hmmm…later.” that was everything this guy did to apologize. I don’t see how it was a problem to notify me earlier and I would have changed my plans instead of wasting time coming to check in, enjoying the dirt, waiting for the cleaning to come and then leaving again. cleaning usually comes at 9-12, as they state in their stay information, this time it came at around 12:40-13:00, so I could have chosen an option with 14:00 check-in easily, and spent time at a museum instead. after all was cleaned up and I was able to get some sleep, but this situation made me uncomfortable.

Amazing.

The owner was very helpful in guiding me to the property. She was home. She stayed with me on the phone, talked to people on my behalf to help me get to the property. She even booked me a taxi! I traveled late at night and she was eith me over the phone all the step of the way. The room us so beautiful! Coffee, tea, and internet. Cable tv too! Loved it! Thank you!

The room was clean and quite. The furniture was beautiful and chosen with taste. To access the bedroom we have to pass through a small beautiful garden.

The check-in was a bit confusing having the structure two different close-by locations, one for the reception and one for the bedrooms. The two are not very well marked. Overall though the staff was easily reachable and very helpful.

Very Cosy,clean and warm place. I was also working during mornings and the wifi was working properly. The delicious breakfast the Tea and coffee were very helpful during working hours. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. Close to the train station but also to the center and restaurants just by walking 10-15 min. Georgio was very helpful and hospitable. The bed was very confortable. I definetely recommend this location to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality Thank you again Georgio. your location Feels like Home.
