Don't expect much for the price.

It was relatively cheap and in a quiet area. OK for one night.

Wifi non existent. Breakfast disappointing. Over charged me for dinner. Room was bare and lacking power sockets.

Over all a pleasant stay, just need to improve the internet.

The room was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and plentiful although only allowed 1 cup of coffee per guest.

The internet didn’t work which in turn meant I couldn’t do any work (mobile signal was shocking in most areas) it also meant the tv didn’t work. You had to come out the apartment building to walk around the corner and a little way down for reception and for food.

Many issues.

Nice building from outside. Kind staff. Good a-la-cart dinner at bar of hotel.

The WiFi network explaines on the door was not there in reality. The receptionist couldn't help. Finally I could use the WiFi of the neighbouring restaurant. The bed was too soft and very squeeky. There were no free soskets to plug my mobile charger or laptop. There was a big, very noisy meeting on Saturday night lasting till late night in the restaurant just under our windows. It is nice that I could leave my bag at the reception for a few hours after checking out, but I had to leave it in an open area, not even hidden from the public.

breakfast was passable, inconsistent in what was on offer day to day - only one day were any confiturra/jam/compotes out for toast and croissants. No milk. Sometimes things on the buffet ran out and were not filled up. Some guests took every croissant there was and no one replaced them Disappointed that, if you wanted more coffee with the buffet you had to pay. (Its an inconsistency that you could ask for un caffe doppio and thereby get two expressi but if you only ordered one expresso you paid for the next!) Room was noisy, lots of door rattling at 2 am and 7am. No shower door. Room was very clean, decent size, refreshed every day. Internet was obviously an issue and had been for some time. All in all, cheap, cheerful and value for money. Staff were universally very pleased to help and were lovely to every guest, even the grumpy ones. One member of staff (I apologise for mangling his name) I think called Mauri or Mouno (SORRY!) went so far as to help me park my car in a different street with free parking and even drove it there with me as passenger!) All staff were ace. Pizza and pasta in the restaurant were excellent, a lot of locals ate there and the aperitivi on offer looked really good.

Good stay.

Great location. Decent room, clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful, especially Mr. Molla. He helped us with all our questions and booking a taxi to the airport even though it was very early in the morning. Breakfast is also included which was nice.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to making the stay pleasant. My room was clean.

The hotel feels more like a very basic monastery or a student dormitory – extremely minimalistic. It's also not well connected by public transport, so you’ll likely end up spending extra on taxis. The room itself had almost nothing besides a bed, a TV, a wardrobe, and a table. For just a bit more money, you can stay at a proper hotel with much better comfort and amenities

Lovely stay

This hotel is housed in a beautiful old building. The rooms have been completely renovated recently and we loved the quirky syle. The perfect mixture between retro and modern style. Loved the style of the bathroom v retro. Beautiful large windows looking out onto the street below. Breakfast was served in the bar two doors up the street and was really nice. Excellent value for money.

Don't use bookings without 24/7 check-ins

I didn't get to check-in as my plane was late over 2hrs and reception closed. I tried contacting the venue as soon as I knew about the delay to see if they could arrange a late check-in, but I never got a reply. I would've slept on the street if I weren't able to find a spot in a hotel in the town.

Good hotel,localization and staff.The bedroom was really clean and the bed very comfortable.You can have breakfast for only E5 .As we were traveling very early in the morning we also had a container with some cakes,juice ,etc. It's not so far from the train station and many atractions .We loved it.Thanks.

Convenient location, close to cita alta, not too far from the downtown, too. Quiet area, clean room.

Parking was challenging as all the public paid parking spaces were occupied, there is a big parking nearby that does not allow to park overnight, had to drive in circles until someone else left.

A very friendly get away for a short trip.

I really enjoyed my week here mainly due to a member of staff called Molla. He does everything from check in to making cocktails and waiting on tables in the friendliest way and always with a big smile. This is basically a very comfortable bar and good restaurant with rooms. It's situated in a quiet area but with easy access to the centre. Thanks, Molla!

Not for foreigners

It was warm but that's the bare minimum

This hotel is not for foreigners and they actively dislike foreigners. No one speaks English. They didn't accommodate my request to add my friend to my room, despite the fact we asked way in advance and were ready to pay more. They just didn't want to deal with it. Then I ended up alone in a tripple room. The hotel is not signposted, only the restaurant. They check you in on a restaurant table and they don't say a word to you the whole time if you speak English. At some point the lady (owner?) left and I was apparently expected to follow her. We walked several minutes to reach the "hotel" and she recorded instructions and translated them to a random language for me. Then she did it again and again in the cold. I also had dinner in the restaurant. The waiter actively ignored me and I didn't get my whole order. All other customers spoke Italian and he was attentive to them.

Great and quite stay at Bergamo

Room was excellent! Very quite at night. Very warm, also the floor heating was great. Administrator gave us welcome drinks at the check in, it was a lovely surprise. Also there is restaurant at the building, you can order from the room.

There was no trash tray in the room, only small one in the bathroom.

Very enjoyable and comfortable

Breakfast buffet was wonderful. The staff at all times attentive and of course friendly and ready to help. The location was easy to reach on foot. As I also had a bike I was happy th have had a safe place to lock it up.

A single minus was the fact that, at times, noises carried from room to room easily when others, for example, had the audio on whatever device turned up high. Windows, however, were really well insulated from outside noises on the street

Besides the comfort and clarity of the room, the staff was also really kind, they greeted us warmly with cappucino and juice. It was also helpful in the heat that the room had an air-conditioner.

We only had a small bathroom bin and no other dutbins in the room.
