Scammer book hotel with over booking to earn extra money. I stay outside for hour in tough winter wheather

Staff didn’t give me room when. I arrived i checked in according to given time they wasted my time and energy then after that I complaint to booking.com still not get response by team even not get refund never recommend this hotel for stay

Too many additional fees

The room itself is large and clean.

The communication with the host was impossible. I reached out a month in advance, a few days before, and even on the day of my stay regarding the check-in, but received no response. My flight was delayed and I only arrived at the property at 23:40 and this late check-in cost an extra €20. Overall, there were too many additional fees for a standard stay, which was disappointing. It would have been much better if they offered self-check-in instead. The property is about a 40-minute walk from the airport, but there are no buses available if you arrive late.

Only for one night

The comfortable bed

The refrigerator wasn’t working, and the receptionist refused to help solve this problem. The shower cabin is terrible — the doors are broken, and the drain doesn’t work properly. We had already read about all this in the reviews, but the owner doesn’t want to improve the living conditions. We stayed there only because we needed a place to sleep for one night.

The worst service ever, not answering at all. Asking extra money for a bit later check-in. Waiting outside for almost one hour before he came for the check-in. Location also bad to go from the airport

It was good for the price.

The location was beautiful and about a 45 minute walk to the airport. And 7 minutes by car. For the price, it's a good option for a night's stay before a flight.

When we arrived there was no one at the reception and we waited with another passenger for about fifteen minutes. If you want to go to the airport from here. A taxi costs about 30 euros. And there is no direct bus to the airport, you have to take a bus to the city center first and then another bus to the airport, which takes about an hour in total.

the owner is being very unresponsive and mot being clear with the intruction. the place is smelly and you have to pay every single thing such air cond, wifi, late check in, like everything! definitely not recommended to people

not worth the value, if you stay only for the bed.

contacted owner before the trip, asked to pick up from airport and late check in. no one was at the airport and when we past the late check in, no one picked phone (we were with child) until we contacted via booking, from then all was good. property is on renovation, staff everywhere.

Disappointing

Bad was comfortable. Easy communication with bus line 6A to Bergamo City (bus stop just in front of hotel). Close to Airport Bergamo, but planes noise is not hearable. Fridge and air-condition in the room.

Balcony and room corner requre renovation. Toilet smells with mustiness. When we try to leave hotel the door handle twist 360degrees both directions... Extra tax 10€ for check-in at 14:00. Reception was empty, so for check in there is need to call owners also saw it at evening for other tourists.

Not good and not close to the airport

Don’t come near this hotel! It’s says bed and fly but it’s not near the airport, a taxi from there is min 30 euros, and the girl from the reception told me that she would drive us to the airport and we set up the time with her and everything. But once we got down the reception no one was there , and we had to stres out and find a taxi in the middle of the night. It may be cheap but for a reason. And don’t count on their air port shuttle services!!!

Central, affordable accommodation with service-minded staff.

Very flexible and service-minded owner. Arranged taxi to the airport for us and drove us with his car to a more and central hotel that he also owned. Because it would be easier for the taxi driver to meet us there early morning next day.

Public bus service is available but you really need to walk a distance and hence studying a map of that area well in advance, as well as knowing the time schedule of the busline. Leaving 06:00 in the morning carrying luggage, this wasn't really an option to us.

Horrible and disappointed experience!!! Keep looking for another room.

We booked a transportation to the airport and were told by arrival that there is no taxi available and they can't help us. The staff told us to call the taxi service every hour after midnight to reach someone to drive us at 5 am or walk in the cold and dark to the airport. Incompetent staff, nobody seemed to care and at the end we were offered a ride at midnight to sleep at the airport. It was freezing cold. I can't believe what happened!! The check in happens between service in the restaurant from the waiters and the whole experience was horrible and disappointing. I can't believe the run such a terrible business and you are better off booking a room somewhere else also center and take a taxi from there. Don't go there.

Disappointing

Thought the host was initially very ignorant - he was very helpful when we had a problem in the apartment

Host very rude on arrival - in no way helpful and very abrupt. Kitchen smells throughout the premises including in the room. Not alot to like about this apartment. The host did respond and sort out an issue we had with hot water - only for that this review would be alot worse. We booked it due to its proximity to the airport but I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Shuttle bus to airport was advertised but it was simply a city bus with a stop nearby that went in through thr city before getting to airport. We were charged €25 for a 5 minute taxi (that was arranged by the host) to the airport. Room was very noisy with music blaring from the bar below and paper thin walls meant we could hear the other guests talking. Avoid this apartment. Pay a small bit extra and it will save you money!!

Dissapointing

It was close to the airport.

Tax applied to everything. Menus at the restaurant did not have English translation and the owner and restaurant servers were very limited in English so couldn't provide any information or suggestion to order. Very dirty mattresses exposed. No mattress protector - very unhygenic.

Not so pleasant First day in Italy

There's a pizza restaurant outside the hotel room. Bed is very comfortable.

Its difficult to go this area from the Airport via public transport. I was able to book a taxi and it costs me around 20 EUR one way. It was so hot inside the room as it was summer. Air condition will costs you an additional 10 EUR for a single day. No complimentary water in the room. Earliest check-in is 19:30 pm. The owner is not so friendly. I guess he is somehow related to the owner of the restaurant. He saw me inside the restaurant but didn't even greet me or give a smile. If only the owner the is kind and friendly, i could have forget all the issues in this room.

It was bad

Very dirty, shower was dirty with hair and almost no water pressure. Dirty blanket and noise from restaurant downstairs. They charged us 10 euros more for checking in at 16.30 instead of 19.30 and another 25 euros for a airport shuttle. Location is isolated with no public transportation.

Unexpected charge, very poor facilities, shower broken

The price us good and the restaurant downstairs serves great pizza. It is very close to the airport- 10 minute drive

Did not respond to emails in Italian as well as English, regarding where to get the shuttle bus. Tried phoning but no one at the accommodation could speak English apparently. Booking.com responded that there would be no charge. There was - 50 euro! We questioned this and it turned out Giuseppe could speak English very well. When we arrived at the airport there was no sign of any shuttle even though i had sent through details of our flight a week in advance. A kind man rang the accommodation for us and they then picked us up - without his help we would have been stranded. The room was cgeap but adding 50 euro for the shuttle meant it was the same price as other places within walking distance of the airport

I don't recommend this Hotel

There is a restaurant next the hotel which belong to the hotel. Till late night the very laud sound of music from the restaurant didn't let us to sleep. There were no tissue paper, drinking water, and even glass in the room. In hotel no one could speak English except one lady who was waitress. In the reception there was no one, in check in and out time even.

We made a mistake and booked a for 2 people but a 4 bed room. The host wanted us to pay again so we were scammed. Transfer of the 5 minutes it took hotel charged 25€.

Pleasant

Close to the airport, taxi costs 15 Eur.

Late check-in fee 20 Eur made the stay in MammaMia unreasonably expensive. In that case it is better to book something in the centre and use shuttle bus instead of spending extra money for taxi and late check-in.
