Quite cheap, good localisation.

Good localisation, good price.

The breakfast consisted of ready-made, packaged croissants and packed jam. There were no cold cuts, cheese, vegetables or eggs. Only sweet buns and jams. No heating - only air conditioning. Could be cleaner: I found a lot of dead insects and a larva on the television. Mould in the bathroom. The bathroom is called "private", but it's not - it's located next to the kitchen, where every guest can see and hear you. The parking is "free", but the owner forces guests to pay 10€ for the reservation.

A disappointing and uncomfortable stay in a poorly maintained place that I wouldn’t recommend.

We didn't like it at all. I wouldn't recommend it. The only good thing was that you could park the car inside the building. The experience was terrible.

The room was huge, but the furniture was very old, and it smelled musty. The bed we were given was actually a sofa bed, which wouldn’t have been a problem if it had worked properly, but the mattress sagged in the middle, even though both my husband and I are slim. The bathroom was old and honestly disgusting, and the shower was even worse. Everything looked extremely neglected. For the price we paid, it was definitely not worth it. The bathroom was shared, which would have been fine if at least it had been renovated, but in this condition, sharing just made it worse. The lights were motion-sensor activated, so they would turn off while you were still in the bathroom, which was really inconvenient. The air conditioning did work, but it didn’t have a silent mode; it only operated with a strong fan that made a terrible noise and made it hard to sleep. There was no iron, no extra furniture, nothing to make the stay more comfortable. Everything felt old and abandoned. The overall atmosphere didn’t feel safe. No one welcomed us or was there to receive us, and the instructions to check in were a bit confusing. Honestly, it was a mess. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Great location for exploring Bergamo / Milan. Lovely owner!

Perfect location for city exploring, 10/15 minute walk to the main station - and similar time to get to restaurants etc. 2 min walk from a large supermarket. Egidio went to the effort of putting out breakfast every morning. Very very lovely owner, checked in often.

Reasonable location with good facilities

Located on the other side of the train tracks from the main lower town, about a 15min walk from the centre with a large supermarket just along the road which also has a cafeteria. Handy for breakfast (since it isn't included) and for buying stuff which you can cook in the communal kitchen if you don't always want to eat out, very convenient. A bus line runs right past the entrance, so you can also use public transport to get about if you're not up for walking (and the upper town is quite a hike)!

The photos of the lounge area are a bit misleading - when we were there it was locked like any other room so you couldn't access it. Also, you never see a soul - all is done via WhatsApp and codes/keyboxes, which seems to be the norm nowadays (the property is part of a 4-property chain apparently). At 8pm the night before leaving for Bergamo I received a message to give guest details and pay for the room. The first payment link didn't work with my bank card, so I was sent a second one which did. The next morning (in the airport leaving!) I messaged asking for the codes and was told that payment still hadn't worked. I had to send a screen capture of the receipt mail saying it HAD worked to at last get the codes. Frankly I could've done without the last-minute hassle and stress (right up to at the airport)! So pay ahead via Booking if possible or ask to finalise things a few days before, late the night before isn't ideal!

It’s clean, comfortable and quiet. It’s worth the money. Room is big and bathroom is new and clean. The owner is friendly. They come and pick us at the station, and yes, it’s free

Convenient Stay close to Bergamo center

Bergamoinhouse proved to be a convenient choice for our visit. Its proximity to Bergamo's city center allowed us to explore on foot. The availability of secure parking within the gated yard provided peace of mind for our vehicle. Our room was notably spacious, featuring a supremely comfortable bed and a generously sized closet. The combination of comfort and ample space was appreciated. The process of check-in and check-out was hassle-free, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us useful tips on where to go in the city. Our time at Bergamoinhouse was enjoyable, as it met our practical needs while offering comfort. Its location, parking, room quality, and smooth procedures made our stay a pleasant one.

Sharing the house with other guests presented occasional challenges in terms of bathroom and kitchen usage, but we managed to find solutions and make it work.

Exhausting, challenging, not much recommended

Family-run place, pleasant communication, responsive to messages. Clean and comfy beds. Clean room and bathroom. [evidently] safe, and quiet room. WiFi Internet OK.

Place’s limited check-in times were bad match for my airport arrival. So I relied on owners private transfer, providing advance and ample information on times (owner responsive) Arrived barely alive, but was up for an exhausting hiking tour before the owner was able to pick me up. Fat chance of having rest in suburban town of Milano I was hoping for. Also, learned that owners differentiate their treatment based on passport of traveller: guests from Americas are treated better than travelers from Europe. Side note that may be important for other travelers: Bergamo is a public transportation disaster, the town even has no functional taxi service (a surprise for one of the two airports serving Milano). Don’t ever come without personal car - or prepare for an exhausting hiking experience to get in and get out, and get just anywhere in town.

Disappointing

A nice clean place, with free parking in a yard but sadly with very poor staff…:-(

First of all we were keeping in touch with the host about the hour of our arrival at they came later even if it was very very hot outside and we were with a little one! The second thing is that we have reserved a quadruple beeing with a little one, and 15 min after we got in the room they told us that is not our room and we need to go in a smaller one, in reality he gived that room to other guests, probably overbooked! It is true that he has given us a discount because of that but he really was not transparent and honest ao be carefull what you book !!!

The location was excellent: straight way to the famous hill, to the station, a supermarket nearby... the arrival went well and the hosts were available for communication.

What was expected based on the reviews, was the lock problem, it also happened to us. It was a bit confusing to stay in a huge, stylish property and wonder why wouldn't they modernize the room locks? If I would have travelled alone, I would have got anxious about it. The sound insulation was a disappointment, as I chose this accommodation thinking it would be quieter than the other affordable Bergamo options that had noise complaints. The traffic caused even vibrations to the room, perhaps we should have chosen the triple room which I think was not on the street side. We could also hear other guests and they probably us, so we could not relax properly.

this is a complete scam. creepy guy trying to call and text me repeatedly pretending to be the owner of the hotel trying to find out my location and presumably pick me up. hotel doesn't exist!! very dodgy, never book this place it's dangerous.

Очень удобное расположение, цена соответствует качеству. Кухня хорошо обустроена и сану узел тоже. Было чисто. Было также приятно получить комплимент в виде круассанов.

Все прекрасно. Единственное, нужно все таки бронировать заранее. И если у вас ранний заезд, скажем прилет под утро к часам 4-5 утра, то заранее обговорить возможность заезда утром с хозяином. Так как мы к сожалению, забронировали в день прилета, приехали, прождали в саду, и сильно замерзли пока дождались ответа хозяина, так как утром все спали.
