The beds were broken, literally unusable ! rubbish under the beds, no tv remote, room covered in cobwebs, rooms are not the same as displayed on the booking.com images,

Bed broken, TV remote missing, en suite door doesn't shut, shower broken and dirty, room not ready on time.

Room was large and clean

It felt like student accommodation. There were young people staying who came back in the early hours, and others were trying to get in and banging loudly on the outer doors for ages. Also, a lot of noise from revellers outside. Very hard to get any sleep. Not recommended for couples!

Location was great and the room was very clean and had the basics we needed

We had a queen size bed, one side of the mattress was perfect however the other side was completely concaved and wasn’t comfortable at all

Not a lot to like to be honest, entrance door hidden by a load of wheelie bins.

Room Number 5 Entrance way is filthy, catpets are horrendously dirty. Our room was so hot that we asked if we could get the window opened to get air in and the owner advised by text that it doesn't open at all. There were 2 floor standing fans that were on full blast but still couldn't cool down the room, we were there 2 nights and those fans were on 24/7!! With the heat of the room and the noise of the fans all through the night we only managed to get a few hours of broken sleep. The bed was 2 single mattresses put together and was very uncomfortable with no support. The bathroom floor had hairs from previous people staying there, the toilet wasn't very clean either. Black mould on the sealant in the shower cubicle, shower only ran with luke warm water. Bedroom window was sealed shut and we couldn't open at all, one pane of glass had a large crack in it where probably a previous occupant had tried to open it too. A total waste of money, not worth what we paid and certainly wasn't what was described. Tried to call the owner but they would only reply to text messages and basically said they had no other rooms and we would have to stick with what we had, they didn't even have the decency to speak to me to explain anything. I am requesting that we have a full refund as the room was totally unsatisfactory.

The room and bathroon were large and clean and had most of the things you needed.

It seemed like the double bed was two single beds pushed together. One mattress was like a hammock with a huge dip in the middle. We couldn't have stayed there another night because of this.There was no spare toilet roll.Also we had to carry 2 suitcases up several flights of stairs.

Room was directly above the nightclub so we could hear every word and bass of every song until 2am. Strangely big room with not much in it. Pretty soulless. Fire alarm at 1am…good job we werent anywhere near asleep!

Central location

It’s very off putting the entrance to the rooms. Very basic carpets on stairs. No breakfast. £95/night too expensive.

The room was spacious, and the TV worked, along with the WiFi. Town centre location made everything easy to reach. The instructions for entering the property and obtaining the room key were clear and easy to follow.

The room smelled of damp, the shaver light above the bathroom sink didn't work, nor did the bathroom extractor (possibly explaining the damp smell throughout). The sockets had no USB sockets. The serious dislike was the large gap at the bottom of the fire door - which renders any protection offered by the door to useless. That needs addressing.

Towels and welcome pack as seen in the photos. Apart from the above, there is nothing to recommend this establishment. Not even that cheap, especially considering the noise. Central to the Old part of town. Two blocks off the Beach and Church.

Noise, boy, is this NOISY! Seagulls are shrieking all night. They feed off the waste and food bags. TRAFFIC! Surprisingly busy road. Noise deflected upwards into rooms. Steep stairs.Keyless entry. Difficult parking. Damp patches. Dated bathroom from the 1970's Torn and stained bedding. Uncomfortable, cheep bed with wire edge. Floors are warped, so fire doors have two inch gap underneath No fire escape plan. I am sure that is illegal! And we thought ourselves lucky that the pub/night club on the ground floor was shut. I cannot imagine how unpleasant it would have been if it had been open. So there you have it. Cheep, but not cheerful.

The room was easy to find, tidy and spacious. instructions were very clear on how to get to the rooms and the key etc. easy to get and use.

The deadlock (the only door security) was very loosely secured so there was a slight nervousness about security but otherwise the room was fine.

Location was good

Number 10 Stuffy hot room but if you open the windows it's like seagull safari outside from 4.30am. 2 hangers for clothes 1 broken, bathroom door won't shut . The beds are shocking I have slept on camp beds at download more comfortable. Bar below one of the reasons for staying (birthday) closed the entire time. Zero contact from property with question. Did I mention the bed OMG. Avoid , especially room 10 was looking forward to it only saving grace was getting hammered Friday night so slept on the floor which was better. Shower head broken so no height adjustment great if your shorter than 5ft 2. Not value for money, owners have clearly given up or never tried.

Location is amazing Room is spacious and clean, booked 2 rooms 1 had enough room for a small sofa or table and chairs as it seemed a little bare. Contactless Checkin was easy and simple

We knew about the nightclub ( only had it for the 1 night on the Saturday) the Sunday it was closed. It didn't really bother us. But the room was unbelievably hot. We had two fans in the room which we thought was odd and we soon found out why. The window was sealed shut and the fans didn't work at all. We took a snacks for the day and after one night in the overwhelming heat with the fans just blowing warm air I wouldn't entertain opening up the sandwich. The edging around the floor was hot. We had to open the door and place the fans by there just to try and get some air. No good for anyone with health issues. That's the only thing that spoiled the 2 night stay cause we deliberately stayed out the room as long as we could it was way too much. I'd have had the noise from the music 24 hours than the heat and no accessible windows to open Beds were slightly uncomfortable. Spring mattress definitely needs replacing

Very neat, tidy and clean. Rooms were easy to access and there was no checking in process to hinder our stay.

Shower didn't work very well, did not maintain or hold any water pressure. Flooring was also slippery in the bathroom, even with towels to absorb water.

very noisy place (under is music club)!!!!!! and you don't know this when you book room. they have shitty policy to inform you that is noisy place when you already pay and you can't take money back and resign. not clean.

Hello, Old bedding. I could feel every spring in that mattress. I couldn't take a shower because there was no hot water.

The only good about the hotel is the location.

Where do I start!?! The floor is extremely uneven, that it leaves a big gap under the door, getting up groggy in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom makes it feel like you are drunk, the carpet needs a good shampoo, there was mold in the shower, mold in the corner of the room and window, my fiance found a spot of blood on the bathroom floor, the windows were dirty, and the mattress old and extremely soft (horrible sleep). The day we checked in, the alley was filled with garbage, it says it has Internet, but it never connected to our phones, couldn't properly watch TV because it's also connected to the Internet, the shower is small (the bathroom is big, but they made the shower this tiny box where you can barely move), there is only one little rack to hang up clothes (more like jackets and nothing else, 3 hangers), and the only lock on the door was loose (like someone tried to break into the room at some point), it needs to be replaced. Unable to share all of my pics of the room.

The noise wasn't too bad, considering the location, the room was clean and shower excellent

The promised mini fridge was nowhere to be seen, the bed was uncomfortable (a very well used mattress, I think) and there was a missing floorboard (covered with carpet) right under the middle castors of the bed of one side, giving the bed a slight but noticeable slope to one side. There are also no staff and no apparent means of contacting any other than wandering into the nightlcub downstairs.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately, the fan was broken and the tv wasn’t well positioned. I wasn’t a fan of the lack of staff, and the interference from the nightclub - unfortunately I wasn’t aware of this, just didn’t realise that it was so loud.

Upon arrival you have to walk past all there general waste and recycling bins, upon arrival to the room looks clean and spacious but the double bed one divan base was broken sunken in the shower head was broken and then on my last night the whole corridor was full of people sing and drinking that weren’t even guest I emailed to make them aware as I was working at 3 am granted I was emailed to say that the location had entertainment until certain times which was fine but I am yet to receive and acknowledgement from the staff about my complaint which is really appalling if I’m speaking truthfull on this matter

I was locked out every time I left the room as both doors did not allow me access with the false code given. Met a couple and the cleaner who had complete different codes to mine!! Emergency contact numbers are Bogus they don’t work as no one answers EVER!’ There is also a big hole in the floor covered by carpet. You only notice when you drop down into it 🙄

I was locked out and could not contact anyone for help. The number given is Bogus as no one answers. Thank God another couple were leaving and so allowed me access once Overall it was a very bad experience for a lone single traveller. I don’t recommend this place. Night club downstairs was the least of my problems. I just wanted ACCESS. I think I should be refunded accordingly

The room was excellent and very spacious. It appeared to have been recently renovated. Great bed and very good bathroom. The location is excellent. Right in the middle of town with plenty of places to eat breakfast and evening meals close by. The Medina, adjacent to Harley's, had a great menu for breakfast and other meals and opened early.

The accommodation is over a night club which operates until midnight. While most of the noise can be excluded by closing the windows the bass did disrupt our sleep. The music did crease just before midnight. If you're a night owl and stay up late this accommodation is exceptionally good value for money. While parking is not provided we were able to park out the front of the accommodation one night (6pm-9.30am). Overnight parking is available at the church a few minutes down the road at a cost of £4 for 24 hours. Multiple days parking was also available. 3 days for £10. We originally booked four nights but only stayed two.
