Queensbridge Hotel

The staff are amazing, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and location is great but it is very dated. The lift was not working & the stairs are narrow & steep. All the furniture looks second hand & floorboards were soft in places. The breakfast is very basic as far as quality. There is a full breakfast option but the eggs are over cooked. The staff are very helpful. I felt for the price we expected better.

We got a good time staying here. One thing to note is that although there is a lift it was not working and our Seaview room was on the fourth floor up 7 flights of steps. My husband uses a walking stick and the manager moved us to a ground floor for which we were very grateful. The sea view room we were meant to be given was small with very limited sea view through gable windows and do not same as in pics. The buffet breakfast is great. Highly recommend. Cleaning of rooms was not great. We left the make up our room sign each day and it was only serviced once and for this all they god was replace the towels. They didn’t clean mugs or make bed so was very average. Reception isn’t always open so hard to complain if there’s an issue. Overall the room we were in was spacious, clean and great value for money and location was fantastic. I would stay again.

Comfortable well appointed rooms. In an ideal spot on the front with friendly staff. Great breakfast.

A guesthouse style hotel with en suite bathrooms. The location is fantastic and the outside is very pleasing with a downstairs bar that looked popular with those using it. This wasn't expensive, but the rooms are older and the soundproofing is non-existent. Was woken up by people coming in via the fire escape at 3am. All of which is not the fault really of the hotel, in my opinion. But it is not a 5 star property which is what it was advertised on this site as. So just be aware what it is, and what it isn't and it's fine. It is a 1 to 2 star guesthouse.
