47 marine terrace appartment

Very spacious.

When we got there, we were given the keys. Unlocked the door to the apartment, and there was a group of boys in there. Went back to reception and was told there can't be. Turns out the boys were given the spare key to our apartment. They were then given the correct keys and shown to their apartment. The boys had taken a shower as they had been to the beach so there was sand everywhere. The room had to be recleaned for us. When we did get back into the room, it was spotless. Noticed as well when making a coffee, the complementary biscuits had been opened and left there.

two nights running there was a horrendous amount of noise from the flat beneath us and although we asked staff to act, there was no improvement and we had three young children with us; there was swearing, shouting, door slamming

Nice for a short stay in a strange layout way, very expensive for what it is.

Good location, the flat was spacious and comfortable but could do with a far better design for an apartment for a family if using it for a week. For a couple of days would be fine.

The price was bonkers for what it was. We booked Ty Belgrave, they called when we were nearly there to say that they had allowed the current users to stay so it wasn't available! Credit to Booking.com they agreed to cover the near twice the price between Ty Belgrave and this property. Ty Belgrave (not associated with Marine Terrace) is a truly awful bunch of could not care less. I hope Booking.com clobbered them with costs, they deserve it. If I had to pay the rate myself we would not have stayed, far too expensive for what it is.

Great stay chilly exit

Location and the flat itself where top class

Lack of hot water on the day we left, we're told that many guests leaving early had drained the tank, cold showers weren't a good goodbye to the accommodation.

It was an excellent location. Food at the hotel was nice.

The property wasn't as clean as I was expecting it would be for the price paid. The kettle didn't work, the bin also didn't work, the sweeper wasn't very effective on the carpet areas and there was no hoover. The shower head was secured with a hairband.

Average and a fly by visit. Hotel very quiet.

excellent location looking over the sea, brilliant for the shops etc. we’ve stayed a few times. The apartment was huge and bedrooms nicely decorated and very comfortable beds.

The back bedroom of the apartment was very cold. The staff on the main reception was a little blunt as was the one on the morning of our departure.. Disappointed the Spa was only for adults we’ve stayed before and they let my Children in that’s why we stay there not this time it’s never busy we’ve never seen anyone down there. It was a shame really. also came to have Dinner 7-30pm chef had gone home we were told.

Breakfast was excellent. Attentive staff in restaurant. Location and parking was great. Accommodation exceeded our expectations. Will definitely return, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

Blind not working in 3a Shower head height adjustment broken Shower gel container left on top of shower screen from previous guest Inside of windows could be cleaner Double mattress in 3a needs replacement. Above is just constructive criticism. Not a complaint!

Nice Break

So nice to have the spa open again which was lovely to relax in after walking Devils Bridge. They also have additional parking now which is a short walk from the entrance.

The hotel promotes spa treatments which is outsourced. Really wanted to book in treatments, however the number given is for the reception at the hotel, plus another mobile number does not work so your left with sending a message via messenger, however, when you send a message, you only hear back when you have left the property, if you are offering these additions and services - have all the correct information - maybe the hotel needs to address this if they are promoting it as this is my only gripe about the hotel.....

Excellent location and very close to town and the beach..the Room was very spacious and well worth the money..It was a little trek up the stairs but the view made up for it..had all the things you need and very comfortable beds.

Not much free parking and on the location

Place was dirty…. Broken shower and toilet facilities wasn’t aware we had booked the top attic studio apartment and 4 staircases to manage with a small dog with bad legs isn’t acceptable everywhere in the apartment has uneven flooring the living area was badly set up with old furniture stored away in corner! For the price we paid expected higher standard and would have liked to be asked which floor level we preferred with 5 and a dog. Won’t be booking again.

our trip to Aberystwyth was wonderful but not enhanced by the accommodation. however it did the job

tired and dilapidated. loo seat needed fixing. cold tap top missing. kitchen/sitting room felt like a dump for old and excess furniture. I had to rehang bedroom curtain. beds really comfy though. view from bedrooms were perfect.

Recommend for a short stay

Close to all amenities. Clean, basic but had everything we needed. When we needed fresh towels we asked at reception and they replaced them.

Wouldn't recommend if you have difficulties with stairs as no lift as its on the 3rd floor. We have 2 dogs and the oldest dog we had to carry up and down. Also the write up advised access to the hot tub and spa was included but was told at reception only the gym was free due to the fact we had booked through booking.com.
