AVOID!!! UNFAIR CUSTOMER TREATING!! UNPROFESSIONAL !! UNACCEPTABLE!! OUTDATED HOTEL !!!
We liked location, good breakfast, lady from the kitchen was polite. !!!!!BEFORE YOU GO MAKE SURE YOU GET ROOM WHICH YOU BOOKED. YOU CAN END UP FOR SURE DISSAPOINTED!!!! Now I understand why they don’t have account on Facebook or Insta. Would be so many bad comments and complaints!
We booked room with double bed and sea view in advance for my Birthday in Feb. We informed the hotel that we are coming with our dog. They replied that they will charge for the dog. On arrival they gave us room but not the one we booked, gave us room with no sea view and with double bed and a single bed, we immediately knew it was not the right room. No one informed us that we wouldn’t get room with sea view. We wanted to speak with the owner, but receptionist said she can’t call him now because he is having dinner, it was around 5pm and said that she can call him around 7pm. We went for a walk and said we will return around 7pm. We returned and receptionist still said that owner was having dinner. We believe is not truth and lie. We asked if she spoke to him and what he said. She said she did, but he can’t do anything. We showed her our booking with our name, room details, sea view but she said room is not available and she is sorry. We asked how it’s possible that someone else have this room? And if they can at least refund us the cost for the dog as compensation, but owner supposedly said NO. We think she didn't even talk to him and lied to us. This is not something you want to hear on your Birthday celebration! From the comments, looks like treating customers this way is “normal” for them; we are not the first!! The hotel didn’t inform us about changes. We paid for sea view room but received something else. Hotel accepts dogs but not allowed in the basement dining room, there was no windows. We went upstairs and it was better for us because just us were there in living room had sea view; breakfast was brought to us. Hotel is absolute joke! and the way they treat people! No compensation or discount. The room was also dusty, side table, bathroom radiator dirty, towel had big holes, no hooks in bathroom for clothes/towels, light above the sink didn’t work, the room had a decking view, not a sea view.

The room wasn't quite as good as the last two times I'd stayed there. Wet towel in the sink upon arrival and no sea view but it was good overall.

Comfy beds, nice breakfast, ease of use and doors being kept open. Very cheap price for a quick stay and friendly staff
Maybe a bit outdated and floorboards very creaky was worried about disturbing other guests. Info board with generic hotel info and rules would be helpful too
