Good value for money

The hotel is situated in a great place in Aberystwyth, walking distance to all of the town. Good value for money, and the breakfast was lovely. We only needed a place to rest our heads after an event, and was looking for a cheap stay. This was perfect for us.

As we didn't pay much, we hadn't expected luxury, but the rooms were clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was tasty. Could do with modernising the rooms, but again for the price, no need.

It was cheap and cheerfull staff are always kind and pleasant and food is always amazing being ceoliac they cater for that aswell so massive bonus

We usally have one with toilet facilitys in room when we stay at four season however having comunal is not for us especially with kids however this was on our part not the hotel

The main hotel was quite nice and the breakfast was good.

The Room, and everything else. I was expecting to stay in the hotel but I was given keys to house 19, this was not a part of the main hotel. The room was basically atrocious, dirty window sill and a broken window, haiir and bits in the bed, useless mattress and dirty carpets, although I don't know why because a hoover was dumped outside on the landing. I was so unimpressed that I had to go out and find a place to have a decent dinner and have a couple of drinks to make me forget. Fortunately I was only there for one night and I was out at 8am after a satisfactory sleep at best.

Rude VERY owner ! When we checked in 7 rooms, they changed our room allocation without permission

Cancelled our single room booking on arrival. 7 rooms booked, told us on arrival that they had cancelled one single room in with a double to make a family room - putting 3 adults in one room although we had paid for separate rooms!

I was kept awake literally half the night by intermittent scratching in the wall. I moved my bed to reveal a vent. This poor night’s sleep ruined my work day to follow. I reported the situation (suspected rodents) and was treated curtly by the receptionist, with no apology and no offer to take any action (I.e. report it to management &/or offer any compensation).

It wasn’t what we were expecting,when we got there we were told we’d be sharing a bathroom with 8 other people..paid £80 extra to upgrade and the room was very disappointing..no towels,used bar of soap left on the floor in the bathroom..dusty and a lot of cobwebs.

Very poor cleaning in shared bedrooms

The closeness to the sea front and breakfast was good

The handle on the bedroom door was very loose, then the no handles on the wardrobe or chest of drawers, cobwebs, curtains half hanging off and the bed looked like it had already been slept in and the duvet just pulled back over. Went to the shared bathroom and nearly fell off the toilet due to the toilet seat not being attached and the shower cubicle was filthy, then in the other shared bathroom the shower curtain was mouldy and that toilet seat wasn't the greatest either but better than the other and the sink had people's toothbrushes on sink like they lived there.

Comfortable for good price

Room was fine for the money with an ensuite, comfortable bed. Breakfast was help yourself and the variety was excellent whether hot or cold.

I wouldn't know as I ve been called with 2h before the check in time to be told that my booking is being cancelled, they didn't find anything else for me or anything and on the top of everything the person who called was extremely rude.

I was already halfway there from my hometown. The person I spoke to asked 'do you have to come to Aberystwyth?' I said 'No but I want to'. She said 'maybe you just go somewhere else'.

room was nothing like what was shown on pictures, attic room that was warm and stuffy when stood in there. wasn’t the best even for the price. we chose to give back the keys and leave and stay at premier inn instead

The room door(6) did not have door knob. The room was not clean, there were food crumbs on the chair which was not cleaned. Only one towel was provided and we were 2 people in the room. The room slept like damp carpet.

Everything, that was disgusting , dirty, share bathroom, pillows , beds every single thing in room was dirty. I couldn’t lock the door as well , that was really scary.

Good value basic accommodation ideal on a budget.

Got upgraded to ensuite which was very nice. Paid for basic room and it was basic but perfectly comfortable and clean. Good in room drink making facilities. Was surprisingly quiet even on a Friday night. Very good value.

fabulous couple of days away, make better by staff, wonderful breakfast and comfy bed.

Breakfast was fabulous. staff were very friendly and helpful. we had dogs so were upgraded and the apartment was great. location was brilliant in the next road from the beach. we had a carpark space outside. easy to get to other beaches by car. parking was also free on the front. we will definitely be returning. .

It was not pleasant but manageable if you already on a new place to visit.

The hotel is near the beach and train station i.e. 5 min walk from hotel. All the stores and food restaurants are open till late night.

The hotel staff didnt provide the same room which was shown during booking (trip.com). According to booking it was double deluxe room with TV and other facilities. We get a terraced room which is very tiny and lots of amenities were missing. I sum up some of the suggestions from hotel. 1. They should have room service everyday whereas we dont even get a towel on next day. So we need to call them to get it. 2. The staff could be little humble and welcoming. 3. They should provide customer what they promised of rather than some tiny isolated room which didnt get service even if you stay for more than 2 nights.
