The staff were so welcoming- all of them. We will definitely return as this means a lot to us. The room was comfortable and the the view was great
A couple of the glasses and mugs were not washed thoroughly but it was ok as there was washing up liquid. everything else was spotless

The room was lovely, such a comfy bed, ideal location. Really nice staff and it was great that I could leave my car there outside of checkin/checkout.
It was a little odd that I had to go outside to get from my room to reception, it didn't all link up (unless I missed something!). But not really an issue!

The location and parking
It was dirty. The kettle was unusable brown gunk in the bottom. Used tissues in the room. Shower mat covered in hair. Stains on carpet and curtains. Food under the bed. We were initially shown to two rooms that did not match the description of room we had booked.

The hotel is right on the seafront, so I fell asleep to the sound of waves.
For the price, I think breakfast should be included. My room was small.

The location is great. Three flights of stairs and ended up in an attic bedroom. No bannister for the last part and my husband has a bad ankle so was quite tricky for him.
Room was pokey with a double and 2 singles in but double bed under a very low part of ceiling so I slept in one of the singles. Booked over a month ago and was basically given one of the worst rooms. The bathroom was horrible, very dated, badly decorated. Water in the shower didn't work well.
Breakfast OK very ordinary and staff didn't really communicate anything or welcome you.
I've stayed here several times but hadn't been for breakfast so would have been useful for someone just to welcome and show where evrything was. Brewed coffee tasted like it had been brewed for hours was not good.

The lack of cleanliness, concerning stains & abandoned facilities.

The location was close to the seafront and all amenities, although the room wasn't what was advertised...it was light airy and big enough for myself partner and 9yr old son for one night . Parking was handy turning up early to leave the car and head down to the beach ,this was a big help rather than lugging our belongings around .
The room advertised on booking was a big space with luxury beds , kitchen and x2 bedrooms. Upon arrival after 3pm we had the key handed to us , had to find the room which was up a few flights of stairs, we got into the room and realised it was nothing like advertised . No sea view ! One of the car park ! There was a double and a single bed (very hard and no comfort ) the double was a very small double too . The shower room was badly designed (walk in shower) with the toilet and sink in there . Very easy to slip also as it doesn't drain well . The kettle and cups were filthy , the mirror too . Our door wouldn't lock as the dead lock off the latch was missing so we had to put a chain on the door and hope for the best . Walls are paper thin we could hear people above and below all night . We had the worst night sleep and had to leave our next day short through tiredness . I wouldn't stop here again and it's not worth the money . Also had a look at the price list for tea that evening and it was very overpriced , we chose not to have breakfast here and heard a few complaints on check out about the food .

Location. Breakfast was excellent.
Pillowcases had dirty marks on them. WiFi not working. Beds weren't very comfy.

Acceptable breakfast with pleasant staff. Good view of the beach.
Bearing in mind cost of the room was circa £200 per night the accommodation was well below standard. We stayed in room 7. The curtains not fitted properly ie hanging off the rail. Bedside lamp on one side of the bed had no plug socket and so unusable. Carpet was grubby and could do with a clean. Shower pressure was very weak which could be cured by fitting a pump. Top of shower only came up to my chest ( I am 6'4" ). Windows looked like they had not been cleaned on the outside for years.

The layout of the room was cosy , the cleanliness was outstanding , beds really comfy , the location was superb as we were right by the beach and other facilities close by
The person next door was smoking weed that stank the corridor out as we was there only one night we never complained but think the staff should do more checks

The breakfast was good anything from fruit cereal cooked breakfast or pastry
Dirty toilet, rubbish on floor and in bedside cabinets, Dirty cups attic room with radiator stuck on with broken thermostat in the middle of summer, loose taps in bathroom and just general grubbyness of room

It was on the sea front, very close to town, comfortable beds, very spacious, incredible amounts of storage and seating
We were supposed to have just a family room but we were put in ‘the studio’. It felt very much like a furniture charity shop with mismatched and excessive furniture. It wasn’t super dirty but it didn’t feel overly clean as there were crisps/hair on the floor down the side of the bed and empty sweet packets in drawers. The two showers and toilets were convenient but since you had to go past both clear glass door showers to get to the toilets it meant you couldn’t really use the toilets or other shower if someone is in one. It would be nice if the beds and drawers weren’t in front of most of the plug sockets so that they were more accessible

Location at the seafront.
Parking was relatively easily available ( early July).
Room size and facilities in the room (fridge, microwave, sink, kitchen utensils).
Dog friendly ( also there's a small patch of greenery/ a park a street away)
The bathroom and window frame covered with a bit of mould

The bar staff were lovely ! Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice .
Can’t think of anything else positive I’m afraid .
Very run down !
Hotel is in desperate need of general maintenance especially in the room we stayed in .

Great spacious room, quality 3 star venue, breakfast was very good.
Definitely stay again x
Maybe not the safest of doors, could easily be broken in, and no air con, it was a hot evening could have done with at least a fan but we never asked so they may have provided one on request.

We were’nt actually in No 46 we were moved to the Marine hotel - we were placed in a tiny double room at the back of the hotel which was very claustrophobic!!! I’d asked for twin room but had a double!!! The floor was very uneven and you felt as if you were falling as you went from one side of the bed to the other!!! Room was hot but unable to open window!! Barely slept at all! No where near a £200 stay plus breakfast!!
We didn’t see much of the property!!

The hotel is located in a beautiful location, with a good view of the coast if you get the right room. The area is very quiet and peaceful even though it was a long weekend and most places were booked.
Car parking is also available right behind the hotel.
No stairs so we had to climb 3 floors and the Rooms aren't as great for the price. We had a room at the top floor (sort of an attic room)
Bathrooms were average

Expensive for one night £148.50 and no breakfast.
And was told by other guests they paid much less than us

Location
Door lock not secure hanging off (reported). Only one set of towels. Nowhere to put toothbrushes. Bed uncomfortable- mattress was awful, a slat was missing from the base - we both had a bad back from sleeping on it. Toilet was loose on floor. We will definitely not be going back there!

We had an apartment overlooking the promenade, and it was gorgeous! The breakfast was lovely too.
Not all rooms have lift access, or keycard access as the description says. The windows could do with a bit of a clean on the inside so you can enjoy the views better. There was no socket by the bed

Our two night stay resulted in an emergency situation that was handled reasonably well by the hotel Management team.
During our 2nd night the guests in the room on the floor directly above our room had knocked on their shower and left the shower door open.
At 4am water started dripping through the ceiling into our bathroom and within minutes the dripping became a flow through several places within our room.
Water came through the main ceiling light fitting and quickly flooded the bed as well as running down the walls and onto our floor. A call to the emergency phone number of the hotel resulted in the Manager reacting fairly promptly, subsequently sorting the situation and providing us with another room. By pure luck and good fortune our clothes and personal items were not significantly water damaged.
An inspection of our damaged room the following morning clearly showed how fortunate we had been to react immediately to the water coming through the ceiling and electrics, as I hate to consider what might have happened.
A catch up with the Manager on check out the following morning resulted in further apologies for what happened. An offer of compensation would have been appreciated, given the loss of a comfortable (and safe) nights sleep, however this was not offered to us.

Nice bathroom
Spacious
You can’t request a certain room if you book it using booking.com (feel like we’re not as important even though we’re all paying customers)
Also the rooms in the photos are not the same rooms you get. I’ve booked a few times and never been allowed to get the room I want even when I’ve booked well in advance.

Not much, location only.
Poor state of repair, not secure as back door to annex was left open all night. Very dirty throughout. The shower barely worked, and was unsafe. Mattress was left in hallway, random items left lying around.
Massively overpriced. Not a nice experience. My advice don’t go.

Comfortable bed, cosy window seats with great sea views, easy booking-in system, varied breakfast choices, good central position in town
A shame there was no lift and I had not been told in advance our room was on the second floor. My husband has mobility issues and found the stairs quite a struggle

the family suite was lovely and spacious, there was plenty of utensils in the kitchen and you get whole ground floor to yourself, ease of access right on beach front
my husband went into back room to sleep with one of our children so I could get a decent night sleep, but ended up I only had an hour as it was the hottest room with the heating being on in bathroom. 1 very restless night. What was so disappointing was that when we’d spoke to someone on phone they arranged we could check in earlier as booked to use spa so the kids and dog could wait in room, that hadn’t been passed on so room wasn’t ready, also we’d booked treatments as it was a birthday present as well as a night to try to relax but they cancelled the day before just waiting on refund. the stay ended up being more expensive than if we’d booked through the place itself as had to pay extra for spa (wasn’t worth it) and breakfast (breakfast was good).
lot of money spent and the next day not feeling revived at all but worse.
the family room was lovely though. and we loved sitting at the window watching the waves.
