Convenient location for a short stay in Bologna

We were in Bologna for only one night and arrived and left by train so the close proximity to the train station was really convenient for us with our luggage. The room was comfortable and the Alessio was helpful.

We especially liked how kind and friendly the staff was! They always answered our messages promtly and friendly, received us with a surprise gift (waiting for us when we arrived), offered us complimentary breakfast (not included with our reservation), and let us check out two hours late at no additional costs. We also liked that everything (e.g., check-in, door locks) was authomatic and the system was very intuitive to use.

Luxury Station Suites- Great Lodging in Bologna

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Luxury Station Suites was perfect for our three nights in Bologna! 👏 The location was ideal — close to the train station and an easy walk to the city center. I really appreciated the secure entry system for the building, apartment, and room, all accessible by phone or code. The room itself was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was a great size with fantastic water pressure and plenty of hot water. A thoughtful touch was the snacks left for us in the mini fridge, and the communication from the host was outstanding. When I initially had trouble getting into my room (completely my user error!), the quick and friendly assistance through chat and phone was greatly appreciated. The building has an elevator, which made it easy to move our luggage, but we mostly took the stairs — a nice way to work off all the delicious pasta, pizza, and cheese Bologna has to offer! Highly recommend this place. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish.

I would absolutely book this property again.

This place was a little oasis in traveling. Our flight was into Bologna after traveling for two days. Luxury Suites is an amazing modern apt in an older building within one block of the Bologna train station. (We were traveling the next day to Riccione) The place was clean and the host was awesome. The bed was very comfortable and we felt recharged with our stay. Wandered the streets and found a local restaurant with fabulous food. Would be a great central location for anyone doing several days in Bologna too. I would absolutely book this room again!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, UNSAFE LOCATION and RUDE OFFENSIVE LANDLORD

Room was cleaned daily and cleaner was helpful.

Absolutely no WI-Fi despite the issue of a password and assurances from very rude and at best unsupportive landlord who never appeared in person throughout our too long stay. Automatic mobile phone-code entry to building, landing and room was erratically frustrating requiring 8-12 attempts to enter floor and room. NO manual code was available relying on telephone access. Building, located on a dinghy side street was filled after dusk with gangs of youths and what appeared to be “Working-girls, creating a very real feeling of insecurity. The poor signal strength often requiring several attempts to access the building only exacerbated the nervous feeling. Despite requesting a balcony, we were given a small side room overlooking adjacent private properties with very small windows and NO view. Cleaner assured us there were balcony rooms available but landlord refused to issue access code. I’ve seldom felt less safe or more frustrated with any property booked through Booking.com.

Perfect room perfect location perfect host

We were travelling around Italy by train and chose hotels close to train stations and reasonably close to city attractions Having stayed in 10 different hotels and apartments over the last 14 days I have to say that the apartment was a 10/10 Perfect room perfect bathroom and room was well equipped Thank you for the host stocking fridge with drinks and snacks Much needed in the very hot weather

A great Apartment in an excellent location if you are using Bologna as a stopping off point for other locations in Italy

The property was very clean and tidy and comfortable. For a solo Traveler, it was very secure once inside. The location was very good for access to Bologna Central Station from where you can access so many other locations of interest. It is only two minutes walk away. However, it is 20/25 minutes walk from the centre of Bologna. A nice touch is a kettle and coffee making facilities as well as some crisps and biscuits as a welcome snack. The host was very responsive when dealing with text messages to help out with the Wi-Fi. And communication throughout the booking process was very good.

Worth noting if you are nervous about using technology, is that you need to use your mobile phone to unlock three separate doors before you reach your apartment. There is no one there to greet you so it is essential that you have your phone and it is fully charged! The Apartment is in a very busy location so you might near earplugs!

Beautiful and clean room with complicated door locks.

Very clean perfect location near the station

The locks on the doors are complicated and frustrating. It is all digital and while there are step by step directions in the app, the doors are not all created the same. The suite door you must turn to the right but the room door turns many times to the left. If you try too many times to access it times out and won’t let you try again.

Getting into the property is a bit of a process and the upstairs neighbors were noisy.

Near the train station.

Our room was very spacious and we were given access one hour earlier at 3pm which was appreciated (thank you Federico) as we had been sitting across the road in a cafe for 2 hours having arrived early into Bologna. There were a couple of complimentary small treats provided in the fridge. That was nice.

Prior to our arrival, unfortunately we were inundated with emails. Probably only needed one email providing the different activities we could do. The online check-in process (via Vikey) was laborious but mandatory (note: photos of front and back of identification required but passports only have one main page so we took a photo of that page twice). Access was via your phone unlocking the doors (there were 3 different doors to gain access to your room). Eventually, we did get use to that. The location, although handy to the train station, was not in the best area. I would feel uncomfortable walking around the area by myself. In the morning, the noise from the traffic below (we were on the 6th floor) was very loud (and that was with the windows shut).

This space was beautiful! Beautiful decor, space, bathroom. Extra large suite. Lovely balcony. Close to restaurants and train station. Be sure to watch video on how to enter property. We did not and there was some confusion. Owner immediately available to assist!

It was a perfect stay, I would come back the next time I'm in Bologna

It was clean, nice and the rooms are freshly renewed. Shower is of normal size, not small and cleaning lady comes everyday. The hotel is situated 2 mins from the central train station which is really convinient for those who travel to Florence or elsewhere afterwards. We had questions about opening of the doors, the manager answered at once even though it was Easter - thanks for all the help! The room is quiet, we didn't hear neighbours, maybe some sounds from the street but nothing too loud. The city center of Bologna is not so large, so it's not a long walk to the historical places (I enjoy walking, so it's not a problem at all). Next to the hotel there's a nice bar for those who need coffee first thing in the morning. There's also a paid luggage storage just next to the apartments, so you can leave luggage there when leaving.

As the rooms are situated near the train station, there are some sneaky guys around, but we never had any problems with them and they never caused any troubles even though we came back late in the evening.

Perfect apartment for what you need, 15 mins walk into the main centre, 2 mins walk to the station. The hosts provide daily refreshments and they clean your room too which was very nice. Room is good size too. Easy to check in and out.

Absolutely loved my stay ! Federico and the team were fantastic, always ready to help. The cleanliness was impeccable, and I adored the balcony. Having tea and coffee in the room was a lovely touch. Très bon logement pour découvrir Bologne

Super chambre avec lit comfortable et bien équipée Petit cadeau à l’arrivée et très bonne communication avec l’hôte. Mais aucun contact humain sur place sauf si vous rencontrez la femme de chambre, très gentille et arrangeante pour laisser les bagages par exemple.

L’environnement en bas de l’immeuble est un peu sale et toujours quelques personnes qui semblent trainer aux alentours de la porte d’entrée. 20 bonnes minutes jusqu’au centre de la ville mais juste à côté de la gare. Une bouilloire serait plus efficace pour les buveurs de thé plutôt que le milk frother. Ajouter une couette plus épaisse en hiver peut être

Camera spaziosa, pulita e essenziale. Abbiamo trovato anche un pensiero da parte dell’oste, Alessio, al nostro arrivo. Inoltre ci ha offerto tutto il contenuto del frigobar. Ha fatto veramente di tutto per rendere il nostro soggiorno il più piacevole possibile. Comodo il bar della stazione dall’altra parte della strada e il parcheggio custodito (a pagamento) 20 metri più avanti. Appena fuori dalla zona ZTL, in 10/15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro.

Il quartiere. Non mi sono mai sentita in pericolo, ma era abbastanza degradato. Vicino alla stazione.

Ottima esperienza, struttura consigliata

La struttura è nuova, pulita e funzionale. Posizione ottima, praticamente davanti alla Stazione, con negozi e bar vicinissimi. Alessio ha fatto in modo di darci la stanza prima delle 14, il check-in guidato attraverso link su cellulare e’ veramente facile e comodo. Abbiamo anche potuto lasciare i bagagli in struttura fino alla partenza del nostro treno di ritorno,pomeridiano. Stanza grande con balcone e frigo bar con bevande di ben venuto, veramente consigliato. Torneremo!

Przestrony przyjemny apartament. Wygodne łóżko. Ciepło w apartamencie - bardzo na plus! miałem przyjemność nocować w styczniu.

Brak możliwości check-in'u po przybyciu do apartamentu w obiekcie. Można to zrobić tylko przez link. Ponieważ znam sytuacji gdzie dane wypływały, bardzo jestem ostrożny i nie ufam takim systemom. Nie ma też informacji w Booking, że jest to jedyna możliwość, ani przez jaki system będzie dokonywany check-in.
