My stay was exceptional, marked by outstanding cleanliness, comfort, and friendly service.

The first thing we noticed was how impeccably clean the apartment and room were. It smelled fresh and felt super clean, which made us feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were just as pleasant. The room also featured a decent-sized TV, which was a nice touch for relaxing after a long day of exploring. What truly stood out was the cleaning staff. They were very friendly and went above and beyond our expectations in tidying and cleaning our room. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Amendola16. The room was so clean and fully met our needs. Complimentary drinks and snacked that were refilled too which was such a lovely touch. Perfect location, right across from the train station and walking distance to the city centre. Check in instructions were clear & super easy to follow. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.

The only downside for us was that it was slightly noisy during the night with outside traffic & other guests entering/leaving. If you’re a light sleeper id recommend bringing ear plugs.

Great value for money

We needed a room asap due to travel problems and we were able to book and check in right away which was fantastic. The location is right by the station which was really practical and the room was nice and clean and looked very new.

We didn’t realize the radiator was on full blast so we were very hot, not a critique but a tip for future travelers to check that if not happy with the temperature.

Highly recommended

First, location. It was right across the street from the train station. A one minute walk. Very convenient. Two, security. You need a conventional key to get in the large doors just off the sidewalk immediately past the bar (What a coffee house is know as in Italy - good coffee and pastries there). Then, you take the elevator to the third floor, where there is a keypad to gain entrance to the suite of rooms. Finally, you use a magnetic key to gain access to your room. Very safe. The room itself was very clean and modern. Nice size shower. Fridge with complimentary water and milk. Snacks and coffee machine. Safe in cabinet above the fridge. Good wifi. Right on the street, but quiet after 10 because it isn't above bars and restaurants. Oh, and someone cleaned the room each night. Uncommon post-Covid.

When Beautiful Pictures Don’t Match Reality

Nice location.

The sound insulation in the apartment was completely nonexistent — we could hear every conversation taking place in the hallway outside, as well as every movement, door opening, and footstep. In addition, there was ongoing renovation work in the building, with drilling starting early in the morning, which meant that our holiday offered no rest at all. We also received our room late because previous guests had caused damage to it. No compensation or apology was offered to us at any point, even though we asked for it.

Great location for train station (day trips) and Marconi Express bus shuttle to and from airport. Spotless and clean. Cleaned every day and towels replaced. Lots of nice little touches - heated towel rail, complimentary snacks, luggage shelves.

Nothing! Some people might find self check in tricky if they are not too good with their phones but we were fine and followed the instructions given carefully.

Gorgeous room in a gorgeous town.

Beautiful rooms with all amenities you could want. Very easy check in process and were able to leave luggage in safe location after check out. Next to rail station so perfect for a stay whilst travelling through Italy.

Had a brief issue with air conditioning but was rectified quickly (even in the night) and was most likely user error 🤦🏻‍♂️

I liked the well-furnished room, which was very clean and quiet. I liked the older building. Check-in was easily done with security codes to access the building and rental property. I was grateful for an elevator, and/but it was a bit quirky.

I didn’t like the lack of “front-desk” hotel support, that would typically help with questions and issues.

The Motel from Hell, Don’t book there.

It was near the Station, it wS clean & renovated.

They gave me the wrong room & tried to tell me all rooms where the same size which they are not. I have proof of photo’s. I paid $200 more than my friend & they got a larger & better room, they gave me the cheapest, smallest room they had. I complained bitterly cause I know what I had paid & it was a mistake,, after complaining bitterly refusing to accept that wrong room, showing them pictures how my room should look,, II wanted a refund or discount they realised I was right & not accepting their mistake, they changed my room but it still wasn’t what I paid for. I still need compensation for a refund, the stress alone was enormous, I actually made me cry. I also had to pay a higher tax rate than my friend did. As I am still on holidays in Italy when I get back home in Sydney Australia I need you to look into that property that they robbed me $200 for their mistake & stress & I want it back. I still wasn’t happy with the other room they gave me, it still was a smaller cheaper room, I had 4 terrible days there & couldn’t wait to leave.

Nice, convenient, ckean, but the smell of cleaning chemicals overwhelming

It was conventional for my purposes. Close to the train station. Very clean on the inside. Instructions on getting in were very clear and helpful. Easy to access. The snacks and coffee were lovely, and much appreciated. The bed was utterly divine! Like sleeping on clouds. And the sound proofing was pretty good.

The overwhelming smell of cleaning chemicals. I felt like I’d be dropped into an ocean full of baby wipes. I almost, ALMOST, had to find accommodation else because the smell was utterly overwhelming and was kind of making me feel unwell. Also, the bathroom was so small that when I sat down on the toilet I had to remember not to lean my head too far forward or I’d hit the wall in front of me. The shower door was… unique. Larger travellers should avoid this place (I’m not large at all, just warning others). There seems to be absolutely no way to avoid flooding the bathroom when showering. I tried multiple times. And though it does have wifi, it’s patchy. And I couldn’t even access it when entering the building, despite them saying that if you don’t have wifi you can access theirs from the street. I couldn’t. Luckily my own networked eventually kicked in and I got access. I won’t go back due to the overpowering chemical smell. And also that they demanded a 10 star review at the end of my stay. Seriously??

Amendola 16 is very close to the Bologna Centrale train station. It's literally across the street. I took several day trips during my stay in Bologna, so this was a great feature. It's a longer walk to the Bologna city centre, maybe 20-25 minutes. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily. There was ample closet/carry on space for two people There was a Nespresso machine and packaged pastries/snacks that were replenished daily. This was enough to get started, and there's a really nice cafe next door.

It's a small space. The bed takes up most of the main room. There's a small table with two chairs, but not a lot of room to just hang out if you're taking a break from walking about the city. This was fine the night/day when I was on my own, but when I was with another person, it felt cramped. It's on a busy street. When the window is closed it blocked out the noise extremely well, but if you want the window open the street was noisy.

The location is across the road from the train station, which was perfect for us.

To be honest, the room was simply too small. It was not possible to open and have two suitcases in the room. My student digs in the eighties were bigger. To call it an apartment is very misleading.
