A disappointment (we stayed here 8 yrs ago..yes a wee while..a shame..sorry..)

Great location, check in staff and breakfast

Aircon in room didnt work, set at 28 degrees and wdnt go below 25. Was overbearing. We had to switch it off and open the window….fine but then every time we left the room staff must have come in, closed the window and reset the vv hot aircon! Argh!

Proximity to station. Cleanliness. Excellent breakfast.

No bar on Sunday evening and forbidden to consume ones own alcohol in bar area. The free coffee/tea dock machine wasn't working and there was no milk. In the room, it was unclear what was free and what required additional payment as regards chocolate and water.

The staff was great with lots of support and help!

The breakfast didn't meet the expectation that we were looking for and got. For this price, it could have been a better selection.

Unfortunately it was not planned to be like that!

The room I booked had one expectation, a wide bed. My room was suddenly upgraded and I thought it could be fine but…

I really planned to rest before a long journey back to Japan and the water wasn’t hot as it could be. The body soup bottle was empty, the hair dryer had no explanation for using it, I took a long time to discover that. I imagined I could have a nice re shower before the checkout but it was cold and chilly after couple of minutes trying to adjust. The call to the front desk was promptly answered but no change. So, no shower before my long journey back home. The breakfast was gorgeous but not attended for the morning coffee. The Italian families or couples and male foreigners had the priority. I really searched for the best place, it has the potential for the best place ever but something was out of tune with me and UNA in front of the central station. Sorry.

Ok for a 1 night stay

The lady at the reception was very kind to upgrade our room to a superior one, without request. The hotel is nice, but not cosy, it’s clean easy to reach especially if you come by train to Bologna (right in front of the station). Very good breakfast.

It’s central, nice room, and exceptional breakfast.I would stay there again if I go Bologna.

The hotel is nice. The room and bathroom was big enough. The breakfast was outstanding. There were a variety of food that everybody can find something to eat. The location was very good for me. It is just next to the train station and close to the city center so that I could visit Florence and come back.

Lovely hotel opposite train station

The hotel is very attractive and nicely furnished. The rooms are huge and comfortable. It is within walking distance to most of the sites. The breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again if we return to Bologna.

Nice hotel for weekend getaway

The location is excellent if you want to travel by train because it is across the main train station. The hotel has perfect "secret" garden, where you can relax from all the noises in Bologna. The hotel is very modern and high tech, the breakfast is tasty, the staff is very polite. If you have garden view, you will relax and enjoy.

The pillows can be more comfortable.

Pleasant and comfortable for a week stay

The hotel had some character - definitely quirky. Our room was large and had plenty of space. Staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was comprehensive. The room was kept very clean throughout our stay. Soundproofing was good - we were facing the main road and the station but the worst of the noise was filtered out. Overall it was a decent, comfortable place to stay for a week.

Less about the hotel itself, but more the location. The area around the station isn't exactly pleasant. Would stay closer to the centre in future. More storage for clothes in the room and coffee making facilities would be good.

Great hotel for exploring.

The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. The large double bed was one of the most comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a wide range and was very tasty. Perfect location opposite the railway station so we could explore local nearby towns. Despite this, the room was very quiet.

It was a little further to Piazza Maggiore than we would have liked, but only because we went there more often than anticipated when planning our visit.

Th property was very handy for station and shops. Reception staff were lovely, made you feel welcome and were very helpful.

Only minor but black mould needs addressing at the bath and water pours through the tap at shower when it shouldnt. None of the dining room staff smiled when you spoke to then or looked like they were enjoying their job.,

Good hotel, not great area to live

It is a clean and big hotel. The rooms are huge, clean and modern inside. The hotel has a bar, the staff was helpfull and the breakfast was good. Great if you travel with train.

The hotel is a good 20-25 minutes to the center. It is located next to the train station and the area felt a little bit weird. We didn't feel unsafe, but it was a bit uncomfortable to walk around there in the evenings. For example there were a lot of homeless people sleeping in the streets around the hotel. I wouldn't choose it if you have young kids and you wanna stay out in the evenings. Moreover, the air-condition was not perfect. Sometimes we would wake up because it was too hot and some times too cold. There was nothing free in the hotel room, not even the water. Usually the hotels offer a bottle of water especially in cities that you can't drink the tap water. Generally I expected a bit more from a 4 stars hotel and for sure a better area to live in.

Not knowing a lot about Bologna we were very surprised how nice it was.

The location to the station was excellent. You had a very good choice for breakfast. About a 10 - 15 minute walk to most attractions.

Although the bed was comfortable, we found that the pillows were the hardest we have ever come across on our travels.

Comfortable and convinience.

They clean the room every single day, no need to ask for it. The room big. The bed is comfortable. In front if the station where you can grab taxi, bus etc, easily.

The staff not nice. Can not dine in the restaurant because there is an event. I mean, how about the guest? We pay too. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great for one or two nights

The room was big, huge bed. Breakfest was fine, the staff were nice. The place is good, less then 10 minutes from the center and has a lot of resturants to go to.

The parking is expensive, the shower room is not comfortable and for someone a little high there is no place for the head.
