Good

The property is only 15-20 min from city center. Good value for money. We even got the room cleaned during our 3 nights stay. The staff was nice and we were allowed to leave the luggage in the room before check in. Good value for money

We had a room which was next to the street and the window is not double (only one glass of window, instead of two): it was cold near the window and the noise was like I had my bed in the middle of the street.

The worst customer service ever experienced.

I have not managed to checkin in this properties as although the owner suggested to allow me to check in late in the night with an extra cost of €30, it refused my check in leave at 2 o’clock in the night without any place to stay. I then call the owner that mentioned he cannot gave me back the money as Booking needed to approve first. After called Booking and a receive a request from Booking of cancellation, owner has not return anything.

Good position and services

Position close to station and along the route to city centre. Fridge shared on corridor outside room. Toiletries, flip flops included.

Unfortunately bed sheets and mattress wasn't so clean. The rest was. City tax 6,50€ per person per night, unfair.

For this high price you better book a decent hotel i.e. Savhotel Fiera, Bologna

Rather reputational risk to booking (see below)

Communication with „hotel“ manager was unprofessional and impolite. Once we have booked then only we could communicate with the manager saying that we arrive by bicycles. She then did not want us to Check-in unless we provide proof of parking ticket for the bicycles!! No cancelling offer for the room, no help how to store the bicycles safely. Rather 3x the message that she had to pay a fine in the past (Money, Money, nothing else interested but $$$). We had to pay tourist tax a 2nd time upfront otherwise no room key. So finally we paid $158 for a short night in a small bedroom that had a big construction pillar between door and bed. ALL THIS IS BAD REPUTATION TO BOOKING.COM

Quiet place near the train station, easy walking distance to the centre, great for an overnight stay

Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helped us with all requests. Great location - only a few steps from the main train station and the airport shuttle, in a quiet and safe place, e few steps from a lovely park and just a short walking distance (10 mins) from the historical city centre. Everything was meticulously clean and the mattresses were superb! A great place to stay overnight when visiting Bolgna for a day.

Great location the bds are very comfortable

It was a little bit noisy. I wish the instructions were made a little more clear. Like how to open the outside gate. We were not told/shown where to push the button so we could open the gate from inside without keys

Horrible. Please avoid. Enjoy your stay somewhere else!

Most horrible experience I had ever! I book quite often via booking (+10 stays a year). But this one was by far the worst. - room across ours was broken into. Bed broken, everything in the room upside down. Not a safe place to stay! - we explicitly wanted to have air conditioning in our room. But there was no remote control. When I asked the owner (Lidiya) where to find the control. She was rude and told us to just open the window of the room - quite some students live in the apartments too. If you open your window you can smell the amazing aromas of smoke and weed :) - Lidiya does not speak English. She answers everything by messages - being short, blunt and impolite. To sum it up: if you want to have a present stay in Bologna - avoid this stay. Hope that I can help someone reading this making the same mistake I did!

Great experience

Clean apartment, very convenient location, all the necessary things were present. Having a separate bathroom is also a big advantage. But the most important are the caring and welcoming owners of the apartment. It was very easy and pleasant to communicate with them, the ladies were available for me during the whole stay. Not a BnB! A restaurant for 10% off but it was not open.

close to train station and buses

No one to let us in the gate at arrival time! Got in but no one to show us where they were actually located in building. Owner only wrote everything in Italian. I used Google translate to speak with owner on Booking.com site. Finally given a room and Air conditioner control was missing. We had to wait three hours for owner to sort things out and give us another room. We had booked two nights. At 9:15pm that first night, after we got into second room, owner informed us we would have to change rooms again because a family booked that room for the next night and the owner wanted us to leave our luggage there with her daughter whom we did not meet till the next morning! We would not leave luggage but told daughter we would wait while she cleaned another room. We finally got in other room that morning. That night around 11:00 or midnight, a guest was extremely loud and then it sounded like someone was trying to get in our room. very scary!

B&B Lidiya is very near to the train station, making very convenient the 6 minutes walk. The place is clean and very calm. the beds are comfortable. We liked the 'water station' and refrigerate just in front of the rooms. Inside the room is a table with chairs that can be used for light meals. The place is on walk distance from all the many attractions cultural area. It was not necessary to use transport also travelling with my in-laws that are over 80 years old. We will come back soon!

Communication was a challenge. The doors code should be sent before arrival.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is really close to the central train station and the centre of Bologna. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.

We really liked the location, because it was very near the city centre and easy to find. It's also near the train station and the parking garage was just behind a corner. The room was clean and well-equipped.

With B&B one expects breakfast to be included, which is not and we also were not informed properly about this and there was no discount from the accommodation price for no breakfast. However, we found a cozy cafe just next to the place. Additional to the accommodation price, there was also a city tax, which is 4 euros/person/night. The staff was not speaking English, fortunately we are able to speak Italian. The flats are not very soundproof, so we could hear neighbours going to the toilet.

There are a few things to keep in mind, which they don't tell you beforehand: - It is very hard to find (2nd floor on the left wing of an office building) - The staff doesn't understand English at all - Check-Out is only possible between 9 AM and 10 AM, which I didn't know and which led to a huge misunderstanding - The rooms are extremely expensive compared to the poor service

Good location near to train station.

Firstly, the woman working there immediately tried to have us cancel our Booking.com reservation so as to pay her directly instead. Then when we said no and that we'd pay by card but keep our reservation, she had us pay through a small card machine which she claimed the payment didn't go through as we didn't receive a confirmation text(?). The room was tiny and the room key we were given was just a blank, meaning the room had zero security and other guests could have just opened our door with their keys. This suspicion was confirmed by the fact that our "key" was number 11, but our room was number 4! Their displayed booking.com score certificate is from 2018 when they had a much higher score. Things have clearly gone downhill since then.

Basic at a great location

Great location, safe entrance, nice attention.

No previous indication I would need to pay with credit card, but only needed a short walk to the central station to an ATM. Could hear the neighbor rooms through thin walls. You're paying for the location and safety, the room was just enough size and quality for such price.

nice apartment and nice experince

The apartment was in a nice and safe building. It was close from railway station and also close from city center. The room was big enough and packed with all that you need, clean and the bed was comfortable. Our host, Lidiya, helped us with information needed and kept our luggage after check out until we finished visiting the city. Breakfast was big and enjoyable! Very nice experience

Good location short walk from the train station

I couldn't get the wifi to work on my device although they said it was fine They only spoke Italian which although Bologna is of course Italian I was hoping some English would have been helpful. I did find the bed to be the best and the air con was not so good.
