Locanda dell'Orsa

We actually had two bookings at the Locanda, one for each stopover, and we stayed thus in two different rooms and I summarise here our experiences. Both of the rooms were completely renovated and a nice and modern fit. While one was rather tiny (but sufficient in size), the other one was more spacious and provided plenty of room to walk around and feel comfortable. Both rooms were fitted with a modern bathroom equipped with a good shower. The room had air conditioning which is a MUST in summer there, and the room was nicely cooled before we came. In addition there was some water and some biscuits, which was more than we had expected. So by and large we loved the place, which was also not far from the city centre. We would come again.

The only minus for the rooms of the Locanda is that they are on the 3rd floor of the building. I believe people should know this, and the fact that there is no elevator to get there. Carrying your luggage up three stairs can be cumbersome, in particular when it's hot.

Location, spacious apartment, complementary snacks & water and accomodating bag drop services as we arrived early.

We liked everything.

Insufficient AC in one of the rooms
