Amazing location, comfortable room, and a very comfortable bed. Best for very independent folks.

The location of the room was perfect and the breakfast provided was better than expected. I was pleased with the room's amenities.

I would have liked a bit more responsiveness from the people who manage the property. I would send a message and not get a response for about 4 hours. This was unfortunate as I needed help getting the heat running.

Nice stay for a weekend

It has all u need and even more. It addition there is a microwave in the corridor. It is also close to the train Station.

Quite central and adequate for a transit stopover. Near the train station

Located close to the railway station. Lovely, comfortable room.

Because there is no face-to-face checkin, it is important to read the email which is sent the day before your booking - otherwise, you stand outside the door wondering what to do next. While the location is convenient for those arriving by train, it can be a bit chaotic at times when traffic is heavy. It is also important to understand that it is about a 30 minute walk to the old historic centre where many of the tours commence.

Clean rooms near the station of Bologna

Amendola Central Station is essentially not an independent property or hotel but an appartment that seems to have been redeveloped as a kind of guest house containing a small number of rooms. It is located almost opposite Bologna Central Station; a 15 minute walk from the City Centre. The appartment containing the rooms is on the 2nd floor to which you get access with a code. Upon entering the appartment you arrive in a corridor with the 8 rooms or so that make up the accommodation. There is no lobby or other common rooms and not a soul in sight. Everything is handled electronically (and very efficient in that regard). And there is nothing wrong with that if you are simply looking for a ln affordable, comfortable and very clean non-descript room to stay in near the station of Bologna. When you are however, as I am, a great lover of real hotels that have a buzzing lobby, character and colour, Amendola Central Station is not for you. Having said that: the hygiene and cleanliness of Amendola could not be bettered.

Great stay, nice renovated room and cozy

Very clean room, renovated, big bathroom, close to train station and 20 mins walk from center. We had welcomed pastry and coffee in the room. Air conditioning was working perfectly. Owner was very responsive to all of our questions. Could not hear any noise from the street so that is also a plus.

The street of the hotel is not the best as it looks like is neglected and also dirty but we did not mind the street so much as we could walk to the centre and we booked this property since we wanted to be close to the train station and not walk much with our luggage. Other than that, the property is very nice.

Beautiful boutique B&B by Bologna Centrale

I booked very late and the owner was so nice and polite on the phone. The check in is flawless so simple and automatic. The B&B is by Bologna stazione. Perfect to catch an early train. The shower is amazing, mattress so good and the coffee superb. The best quick stay ever

Fine room but feels unsecure

Nice place with a good location.

Check in and ID check was all done via whatapp which didn't feel secure and would be easy to lie. This was my biggest downside as didn't feel secure. No check in or anything else. Also offered me 20% if i gave them 10 out of 10 on this and man I DO NOT like that as it is fraud. I understand with only 10 rooms it makes no sense to have a reception on but it made as feel like the place was no secure. There was not a duvet on the bed just a sheet which would be fine in the summer.

Was about a 20 minute walk from main square (which I didn’t previously realise) which meant a bit of a walk back at night through streets not very tourist-filled, so I felt a bit uncomfortable doing this as a solo traveller. I didn’t realise it wasn’t a traditional hotel (ie with lobby, serviced reception desk, etc) so took me a while to find the location and realise it was an apartment floor I was looking for. The owners were easy and fast to communicate with via the booking.com app, but personally prefer a face to face interaction with service desk I found it a bit difficult to find the accommodation and access the room, especially at night. Found hard to get the door to open electronically (perhaps my poor internet connection) and my key impossible to turn open. But otherwise is very nice and comfortable accommodation

Brilliant choice in Bologna

Location is superb just a few steps from the train station and only a 15 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore/centro storico. The check-in process was well instructed and clear and all communications around it friendly and punctual. The room was clean and had everything you need for your stay - even complementary drinks in the fridge.
