A surprisingly spacious accommodation with an abundance of facilities.

Underwhelming

Not much, the host neglected to give me the entry codes and directionsdespite asking for this twice.

There was no instructions for anything, Wi Fi, Heating, water heater, rubbish recycling no idea what to do so left it. Bedding, pillows limp. The lounge furniture was dirty the courtyard was untidy and the bathroom smelt musty. Not 'amazing"at all.

Not a wonderful place.

I think the only positive points were that there was a smart TV and lots of board games were provided.

The mobile home was very old, rusty, and dusty, and I didn’t feel comfortable staying there. There was no sense of privacy, as people were living in lodges right next to us. Perhaps it was nice ten years ago, but it’s clearly not maintained anymore. There weren’t even basic amenities like tea or coffee provided, and when I messaged the staff to ask if these were sold at reception, I never received a reply. The reception itself is quite far away if you don’t have a vehicle. To make matters worse, the ketchup in the kitchen was expired, and everything felt worn out. Most of the blinds were either broken or dirty, and some doors were propped up with stones—I even hurt my foot on one of them. The place looked nothing like the photos on the website. It is definitely not the “wonderful” place it claims to be.

Comfortable home from home - we wished it had been a bit longer!

Had everything we needed - the owners were very accommodating to a last minute change. It’s modern, had WiFi and a smart tv so good for the teenagers! Comfortable beds

Wonderful mobile home - a very creative sales pitch!

Good shower and plenty of hot water. Good selection of games for the children

I never leave bad reviews but I am so upset that I have had to break with tradition. The van whilst we realise is old and tired (for which we have no problem) was filthy! The van smelt mouldy, there was mould on the walls and ceiling. Much of which we cleaned off. Stale bread had been left in a cupboard. I had to anti bacterial the fridge before anything could go in it. There was built up dirt in every corner. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the bedding there the van was dirty and we didn’t want to touch anything. Glad we had taken our own bedding. Good job my sister had hired a caravan for the same price elsewhere that we could stay there and limit our time in the van we had hired. If the owner has been paying for a housekeeper then they really need to look at retraining them. We have taken pictures but it would be unfair to show them unless you wish us to do so.

Property was in a great location with easy access to centre of Aberystwyth. Property was exactly as described, great facilities and really clean.

There was a noise from the back of the caravan (I think it was the trees hitting the caravan) which made a noise during the night as the weather was bad.

Dreadful although the owner did come to reclean. Then messaged to ask where the problems were as she couldn’t see any.

To be honest nothing other than the bedding was clean. However no mattress or pillow protectors.

Lights outside don’t work. Steps very steep with no hand rail. Dirty carpets, sofas, bathroom. Pubic hair on cistern. Cutlery drawer filthy. Oven disgusting and owner said needs professional cleaning. No information about heating, WiFi, local area or van. Needs closing and a very deep clean before it’s letting ready.

Suited us for a one night stay

Everything we needed, thank you. All clean and easy to use. Plenty if room in living space & fully equipped kitchen.

Bedrooms were cramped & beds were shorter than average. It is a caravan after all.

Wanted for nothing.

The caravan was lovely and clean, spacious for the 3 of us, it felt like a home from home. It's well equipt with lots of thought taken into catering for families with young children, books and board games available to keep everyone happy. In a great location, It is around 15-minute walk into the town centre.

Better Communication From The Off Site Host Would Have Helped

Clean and mostly well set up. It is rare in the UK to get any holiday park van for only 1 night (and that includes linen) so I will give 4 stars for our stay; despite the host’s frustrating communication process, as below.

As overseas travelers, whose 30 day phone plan had just expired, we had phone problems on our arrival day; so we initially missed the stay access info that the owner only apparently sent out a few hours before the check-in time. Why, when I had fully paid weeks before, could the stay van number and its lock box code not be shared at least 24 hours before the stay, via ideally the Booking.com app / or its linked email; as all other Booking.com off-site hosts have been doing in our 4 weeks of local travel here? I had wrongly assumed that the booking process and then arrival was being managed through the holiday park actual management. They were then helpful however in contacting the van owner on my behalf once we were on site. Time to get new bed pillows.

Nice caravan. Can tell a loveable family own it. With all the amenities that you will need for your stay. With just a 10 minute walk into town.

Just there is a bit or ware and tare in the caravan. And a fair bit of cobwebs/dust on the roof in the main bedroom. That could be sorted in just a minute. But is a lovely caravan.
