Good location, good concept, clean everything you need is provided as normal

It was very disappointed that the spring bed was very bad, cause us to have body pain, couldn't not sleep. Pls get better mattress, for good rating. The room was very cold, radiator was turned to 5 still did not heat up the room as the temperature was set low putting heating did not work, no heating in the bathroom. I would have given 5 star if these were i. Good order. Very bad.

In no way is this a studio apartment and it should not be advertised as such, it is an en-suite room with a shared kitchen. There were two black hairs on the bed sheets. The location is opposite one very noisy pub with another 100 yards down the street which were still very noisy on both Friday and Saturday nights until 2 a.m.

It is very nosiey, from Rooms above and attaching rooms, you can hear every piece of movement. Busy street with two pubs and general traffic Wouldn’t recommend if you are early to bed person or a light sleeper

It's not an Apartment

Clean, nicely decorated, wifi good

It's advertised as an apartment but it's not an apartment. What you get is a fairly compact en suite bedroom and then upstairs is a communal kitchen. That's not an apartment. I feel the listing is misleading. It's a perfectly nice place to stay but it's not a self contained apartment

Flat was well stocked and clean, owner has good communication skills, good organisation, helpful, and responds quickly to queries. In a restful environment, other residents were considerate.

It was a last minute decision to stay. We hadn’t bought anything with us, so grateful for everything the apartment had.

The room was lovely. Spotlessly clean. Had lovely towels ( not boring white ones). Toiletries were in the room and thankfully a USB charger. Tea making facilities as well. The separate kitchen had everything we needed. Was only there one night, so wine glasses were sought and found. Dogs were welcome too. Happy

Good value for money and good location close to the bustling town centre.

Location was good - very close to the town centre. We were able to park immediately outside the property on the road even though there is no designated parking. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was no noise from outside despite being on a busy street and close to a pub.

Nice place but not the ground-floor room

Clean and tidy. Desk fan in the room to help with addressing the heat. Tea, coffee and milk available in the room.

As per other feedbacks, the listing is misleading: we booked an "entire apartment" but on a careful read, the listing mentions a "shared kitchen". The place is indeed one of 4 rooms with ensuite bathroom in a shared house. Not a major concern despite not happy about the unclarity. The real problem is that we stayed in the only ground-floor room where the level of humidity was unbearable. A pungent musty smell on the entire ground floor, especially in the room, accompanied our entire stay (luckily, just one night). The climate change within the apartment was easily perceivable when just climbing 4-5 steps to go to the first floor, where the kitchen and the other rooms are located: way healthier environment.

Easy to find, nice little room and bathroom and getting the keys was easy, good communication with the hosts

The bed and pillow was really uncomfortable and we didn’t get much sleep, struggled to lock the front door and in the streets it must have been bin day and rubbish was everywhere

A very disappointing stay - not as advertised!

The room was tidy and clean, and the shower was hot with good pressure. The bed was comfortable.

The room was advertised as a studio apartment. It was not. It was an ensuite room. The kitchen was shared with all other rooms in the property and was right next to my room which meant every time another guest went to use it, I heard every bang, scrape and chop as well as their conversation. I had to store my food in a shared fridge and leave it unattended. I had wanted a private space with a sitting area and kitchen to use while visiting my son at university so that we could spend some time together and I could cook for him. The TV was also quite basic (probably 10 years + old) with no smart function and very small. It was noisy during the day with the businesses nearby, including a tattoo parlour (I had to do some work during the day) but very noisy at night with the bar opposite staying open until very late. Other guests were loud and came back very late. This was intimidating for a woman staying alone. They also did not engage when a dispute was raised regarding a payment they took without consent from my credit card. Thankfully, Booking.com supported me with this, and it was rectified. A very disappointing stay. Beware if you want a studio. This is not for you.

Pleasant but needs sound proofing

It was for a single nights stay

It was very noisy. When a guest went in heir bathroom it felt like they were in your room. Could hear everything from people above . Not a great sleep Would not recommend if you have a dog that is reactive to sound .

The location was perfect for access to the area, the room and shared kitchen were excellent and very clean, there was ample coffee. milk etc available too.

The bedroom and share kitchen were clean and the location is walking distance to the train station and waterfront areas. Check in was easy and communication good.

It is falsely advertised as an ‘apartment’ when it is not - it is a single bedroom with en-suite and the kitchen is separate and shared by three other rooms. We were just lucky that no one else wanted to cook the night we did . There is nowhere comfortable to sit - some decent chairs either in common area or rooms would be good. Our room needed the mattress replaced as it was collapsing and uncomfortable so we did not get a good sleep. It very noisy area at night with many people coming out of nearby pub until early hours- so woken up often. It was to weekend so not sure if it would be quieter during the week.

Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean

Stunning room, decorated beautifully. The only down side was the strong smell of damp in the bathroom which has been mentioned by other guests but all in all, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, well equipped and nice quiet spot. Will definitely recommend and would book again. Host has answered queries promptly.
