Excellent location. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Good value for money.
The bathroom smelled damp - would definitely benefit from a decent extractor. And the room is basic - but to be expected for the price.

How creaky the blood boards were, didn’t have certain facilities and there were no openable windows

Location perfect, at most 10 mins walk from rail and bus stations. Sea view over the castle! Great communication.
Nothing I did not like, but visitors should be aware that this is basic accommodation. At the price though its fantastic.

The location is perfect with lovely views over the castle and sea. I would definitely recommend the top flat for two to three people. Kitchen includes a sink, fridge, kettle and microwave.
I couldn’t sleep either night because of noise. I expected some sounds due to the age of the building but there seemed to be someone walking past my room frequently throughout the night. There were also several security issues and at one point I was trapped in the bathroom because the door knob fell off on both sides. Luckily I had my phone so could call and someone came to let me out.
