A pleasant stay with nice sea views

We really enjoyed the view, a lot of money for a week.

The property was great, we liked the fact everything was on one level, the view was amazing .

The bathroom never had anywhere to hang towels or clothes, the shower was too powerful + the t.v wouldn’t work in the bedroom. Also could do with a little more storage in bedroom.

The location was excellent with fantastic views. The kitchen was well equipped. The property was clean and fresh.

Sofa and bed not overly comfortable. The bathroom was a problem, having been flooded recently, which no doubt will be rectified but getting into the bath/shower was difficult for us as the bath side seemed very high. The bath was very slippy and could really do with an anti slip mat. As the bathroom is to be refurbished it may be worth thinking of a wet room. Towel rails would be nice too.

Fantastic.

Best possible location in Aber, over the harbour and the ocean, plus view over the town. Spectacular, indeed! This is the dream apartment of many people I guess! Everything you need for everyday life is there in the flat. The terrasse is the place to enjoy dinner while you watch dolphins.

A couple of hangers and hooks in the large bathroom will not hurt.

2 Plas Morolwg was a great base for exploring Aberystwyth.

The flat was well equipped and very comfortable. The view from the terrace was outstanding. It was a short walk into the town centre. Aberystwyth was a lovely town with lots to do.

We liked everything.

The apartment had amazing views, a very quiet area, and only took 5 mins to walk to the centre of Aberystwyth with two children. The apartment had everything you needed, and the hosts were very accommodating with very short notice of our stay. Loved it.

Beautiful location, missing a few finishing touches

Apartment space was very good. Location was excellent, parking spot on & having Smart TV's in both living area and bedroom was great.

The facilities are quite basic. Commonly people will choose an apartment over hotel as they're going to occasionally eat in. I'd expect as a result of this, kitchen facilities would include a colander. Finding out the hard way after cooking spaghetti wasn't great! Another point is that there is nowhere to hang your wet towels after showering. Adding a couple of hooks in the bathroom would easily resolve this. We were left hanging them over chairs in the living area which isn't ideal. Also, an additional hand towel for the bathroom would be welcomed. The allocation is two towels per person, but for me that is one body towel & one hair towel so we had to use one of the hair towels as a hand towel and share a hair towel. Unfortunately there were no instructions on recycling. As a result of this & coming from England where we will have different rules in place, undoubtedly we'll have gotten this wrong, but I don't know how you avoid this unless there are instructions. The final point, which is more of a "nice to have" as opposed to a must, is a welcome pack. In most apartments I've stayed in, there's usually a little starter pack, i.e. milk/tea/coffee/sugar/kitchen roll, but this wasn't the case. Also some detail about the local area, like restaurants & takeaway/delivery places and local taxi number etc etc. Like I say, not a necessity, but a very nice touch.

Superb

Parking and check-in were easy and great. The apartment is relatively new (8/2023) and very clean. The rooms are spacious. We also loved the washing machine which was a big plus for us. The outside area is a nice addition. Some greenery might be nice there as it might help keep the place cool. We were able to see dolphins swimming in the sea from the apartment! That was very cool. The location is amazing.

The bath is a little small, but we are tall people (193 cm and 183 cm). The apartment could get quite hot when the sun is powerful.

A fantastic property which is very clean and has magnificent views!

New flat which was very clean with lovely furniture, very comfy bed, huge tv, great kitchen with all the bits and bobs you need in the cupboards. Amazing sea views and plenty of outdoor space on the balcony including table and chairs. We spent a lot of time in the property during our stay, because it was just so nice! Thank you!

Exceptional

Very attentive owner. There had been a leak from a flat above which meant the light in the bathroom was not working. Owner was abroad but got an electrician in the next day at a time convenient to us and it was sorted. Lovely warm flat tucked away in Aber with sea views in a quiet cul de sac. No noise from neighbours or traffic. Used the sofa bed....and that was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and bathroom very clean

Comfortable, pleasant and a great location

This is a new ground floor flat in a quiet location on the edge of town 10 minutes walk from central Aberystwyth. A very quiet block of flats with a great view from the balcony out to sea and across the marina (when it wasn't foggy). Very well-equipped kitchen, large sofa and big-screen TV, with a smaller one in the bedroom. Bed big and comfortable and wifi all OK. Had a very comfortable weekend stay here.

It is a little out of town, so you will have to drive, or walk 10 minutes to get to the shops and climb a hill on the walk back. An extra blanket for the bed for chilly February nights would have been useful, but other than that absolutely no complaints!

The only reason I gave 9 rather than 10 was we did experience quite a bit of noise from the other apartments and hallway due to maintenance work being carried out on the building. I completely understand that this was no fault of the host, as they would have no control over the work being carried out, and it would have been a one off. Though it was a bit disappointing as the work started very early in the morning.

Disappointing hosts. Great location.

Great location over the harbour.

We had a problem because we found our bed was covered in fluff. When we contacted the host he told us this couldn't be possible. The encounter with the host made a non-ideal situation worse. There were other issues too. For anyone wishing to stay here, it will probably be fine but we will not be staying here when we next visit Aberystwyth, our childhood home.

Die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer ist sehr schön, direkt aufs Wasser. Man kann gut von der Wohnung in die Stadt laufen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und modern. Dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist, war super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Wohnung gern weiter.
