Fantastic service

Me and my partner was in the city to attend a funeral we stayed 6 nights. The room was spacious and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. The owner is one of the nicest people we could have met and we cannot wait to return again

Decent. Get your money worth.

It's was more than good for the price we paid. Booked 2 rooms. Easy access. No issues getting in just a simple call to the owner on arrival to get the lock box code. Had a call of the owner when we left saying we had left a necklace behind in the room. Wasn't ours. Obviously from a previous guest. Just goes to show a bit of honesty goes a long way. Hope it gets returned to theo owner. Will book again if I return to Aberystwyth.

We couldn’t access the property and ended up sleeping in the car. I sent an email with my ID (don’t know why). The next day he sent me the code. I’d like a refund. I phoned he ignored us, he also put the phone down on me the next day when he eventually answered!

Really cosy and comfortable and good communication.

Paul is an excellent host. In advance of my stay he approached me and made sure to fully communicate with me regarding access which was very helpful. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable and I had a really good nights sleep. The shower in the big bathroom was also good and easy to operate. The bathrooms and kitchens were stocked with all the essentials (although I didn’t use the kitchen personally due to lack of time). So overall a very pleasant and convenient stay.

Perfectly located - fine place to sleep, great wifi, smart TV.

I contacted the host and was allowed to check in several hours earlier than expected (asking politely always helps.) Easy instructions to access property. I was in room 8, which was perfectly secure and comfortable for me. I didn't "stay" there like a hotel room, as I was out early and returning late. But as a place to shower and sleep and store my things safely, it was perfect and great value. When I did want to watch some TV or pipe Youtube on a big screen, it was easy. Shower was hot and had good pressure. Host was always responsive to messages very quick, and very pleasant to deal with. And when you're carrying big suitcases, three minutes walk from the train station is a blessing. It's right in the heart of the city and yet on a very quiet street.

I would have liked to know what to do with my trash, I felt bad leaving it for the cleaners when I left. (I filled a bin and left recyclables behind the door.) But really there was nothing to not like about the place. It's well described, honestly reviewed.

Solid, central place to stay in Aberystwyth

Comfortable and adorable economy room in central Aberystwyth. Nice kitchen and dining area, place to store food. Cleaning done daily. Towel provided. Tea provided. Hot showers. Good central location. Helpful tips provided about places to see in the area. Respectful guests in the house.

A bit cold in the flat in October. I can understand wanting to economize... But I was cold!

Stay clear, would not recommend.

The closeness to everythink

Unfortunately everythink, when I got there the lock on the door to my room was broken and had to ring the owner to get a guy to come and fix it, the whole place smelt of God knows what they had cooked but it was vile. The mattress had had its day along time ago hence didn't get much sleep. Room needs a good refresh. Needs blinds for bathroom window.

Good communication from the owner, also they left a packet of Welsh cakes in the room which I thought was a nice touch. Free tea/coffee with milk is available in the shared kitchen. Brilliant location with free on-street parking based on first come first served basis between 18:00 - 21:00

Great Location.

Wonderful host who went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. Great children who were lovely. Close to centre. Plenty of kitchen space, use of washing machine.

The mattress is not the best quality. The property is tired in places. Other guests at the property lack social awareness and are on their phones in communal places. Also you can hear them on their phones from your room and it’s annoying. Parking can be tricky. Room was a little chilly.

Location.

Lamp with no bulb, damp on walls, mouldy showers, 2 and a half flights down to toilet, general disrepair of property. I wasn't expecting The Ritz for the price but nevertheless a bit too grim for me.

Clean, tidy and friendly place where to stay and make new friends.

Good shared & private facilities states, nice and openly friendly staff and most guests.. (hidden apart guests did have them own reasons to hide away, as eventually noticed); good wi-fi, and tv upon one's own management (obviously you need to sign on any personaly subscribed channel).

An adjacent ground patio was in refurbs. I do hope they facilitate a bikes shed parking, so to facilitate healthier transports.

Very welcoming landlord.. nice & clean spacious room .. also the bathrooms very clean & the kitchen was very nice with clean fridge .. very accommodating I will be returning at least once a month when visiting family ideally this property will be my 1st preference Could not of asked for a better place to stay. Very good price.

Central location, everything walkable. Use of full, well equipped kitchen including fridge. Free overnight parking if you're lucky to get a space. The host Paul was friendly.

Black mould in the showers. Felt expensive for what it was (shared bathroom) but seems Aberystwyth is just expensive as this was the cheapest option so we were happy really.

The Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

The carpets weren't clean and warn and the pillow cases where dusty. Black mold in the showers. The bed was not comfortable. I slept badly. Some of the costumers smoked in the door way and filled the property with smoke.

Bedroom is perfectly comfortable and homely. Bathrooms are clean and the showers are great. Kitchen has good facilities. I felt secure and comfortable here. Also very close to the centre - about a 5 minute walk.

Location was great, parking was easy. The rest is you get what you pay for.

It was just a room in an open house, much like I would imagine a hostel would be. There was no one to let me in, had to wait 5 minutes, but you gey what you pay for and it was cheap
