A very pleasant stay and would love to stay again

We stayed at the apartment facing the parking for the first 4 days, it was a very pleasant cosy clean apartment. Felt completely like home with a living area and bedroom and a well equipped kitchen. Very tastefully done, conveniently located and thankfully located on the first floor since we had a lot of heavy luggage.

The last night we stayed at the river facing apartment, (we are extremely grateful to the owner to accommodate our last minute request for stay of another night). The balcony and the river view was amazing, however the bed setting was a little inconvenient to get in and get out of. The bathroom lacked any mirrors, the flush made a noise and the shower was all over the place.

Very nice apartment. Very tidy and well equipped. Perfect location next to the river and city. Everything is located a very short walk away. Bars. Food. Cathedral. Castle. Very well situated.

Fabulous flat for a relaxing getaway!

The flat was spotless and instructions for entry, WiFi etc were very clear. Host was very friendly and responsive, the location was excellent; all in all a fantastic experience! I loved being so close to the river and the cathedral for walks.

Good value but poor nights sleep

Clean, nice part of the city and convenient

Small bedroom, very noisy metal frame bed and poor quality mattress = poor nights sleep. Unfortunately our neighbours for the night were also very noisy - screaming down the corridor through the night and shouting out to there friends in the sleep which is not the owners fault at all but it did make our stay and sleep in enjoyable.

The location was excellent, either side of the river. Close to all the amenities. Very nice apartment, but could do with a new frying pan lol (Dunelm)

first impressions

the location was perfect if you wanted to go out 3min walk from some pubs and food the ease of entry and secure car park is good and the shower was good

on first look round inside my eyes saw 2 big cobwebs full of things caught up, one above cooker corner left side and one above window in seating area, I got brush out and removed them as they were big , the flooring looked like it had been mopped over with a dirty mop you could see mop marks all over, in places the flooring looked like it needed replacing, very creaky when you walk around , the tap in the bathroom on the sink is awful, you fill sink to wash you can't bend your head down to splash water in cupped hands as you smack your head/face on tap , the kettle in the kitchen needs replacing or descaling leaves your tea or coffee with a scum mark on surface, upon entry to property you get outside your room door and there is no light to see to put key in the nearest light is down the corridor unless you use your phone.you can see marks on the wall where people have sat on sofa with heads against the wall .

Roomy

Needs repairs to furniture, no dish cloth or dish detergent. Parking at the property was not available for our 1st night, however lots of vacant spaces in the secure parking. Unable to contact manager, number could not connect.

Musty smells on entering the apartment Constant humming from wi-fi in hall , sounded like permanent vacuuming Windows wouldn’t close in living room and bedroom Shower difficult to use for elderly people.. very slippy in shower Water temperature varied massively when tap in kitchen was being used… very dangerous Hardly any room to get round the bed .. again difficult for elderly or those with mobility problems

Location was excellent; convenient for city centre and the cathedral/castle. There were numerous places to eat within easy walking distance with a wide range of choices. There were also several convenience shops nearby.

Made our getaway complete :)

Great price, great location, very clean and comfortable. Mattress was like heaven! Good amenities, coffee/teas/milk etc. Tv in bedroom as well as lounge which was brilliant. Easy access via lockbox, helpful host and made our getaway really enjoyable.

Noisy neighbours but very close knit to each other so not surprising. Couldn’t control the heating in the room so was very hot but kept the windows open which was fine.

Pleasant, but not the best sleep.

The location was great, easy enough to find, and there weren’t any loud noises nearby.

The bed was a little too hard for me and the detergent was too strong. I am not sure if they were rinsed properly. This affected the quality of my sleep.

Very small double bed and bedroom, could not get around the bed.

We did not have a balcony as advertised and stated on the Invoice.

It suited us for what we wanted

Location was superb and bed very comfortable.

The floors squeaked the sofa squeaked and there was only a 12 inch gap between the end of the bed and the wall. You could not sleeep with the window open due to the smell of the cannabis from outside!!!!! We did not want to wake up stoned!!!!

Norwich is a lovely city and the apartment helped us enjoy it.

The location is excellent, being so conveniently near the centre of Norwich. The apartment was spotless, and everything was new, including the cooker and cutlery. We found a great place to eat locally.

We would have appreciated a cafetiere, two saucepans with lids, larger microwaveable bowls and a casserole dish. The kitchen equipment does not support self-catering,
