Studio apartment in Norwich City centre APT 4A

Would have appreciated plug for kitchen sink.Made it a little hard to do dishes. Also more wattage for overhead light/lamp - difficult to read.

The heater was very good at making the room warm in the evening. It was very comfortable. The bathroom heater was extremely good at keeping the bathroom warm, which was nice in the morning. The shower was very powerful, with an easy control that clearly was cold in one direction and hot in another.

The window would not fully close. I had to jam a towel into it to keep the cold air out and muffle the noise. This was fairly effective, although the room was a bit chilly in the morning.

The location was excellent, very close to the city centre, and Norwich is a lovely place. The apartment had private secure parking which was great. The kitchenette was good and there were enough bits of cooking equipment and crockery for meals.

The parking was at an additional cost which wasn't clear when I booked. The main problem was the apartment was unbearably hot. The temperature at the time was average for a UK summer - because the apartment only had one window it was impossible to get cool, even though the owners had kindly supplied a fan. The window had to be open fully at night, which meant that the noise of the street was audible - including someone having sex in their car outside. It was so warm I had to sleep holding an icepack to cool down. This is not the owners fault - but is due to the design of the apartment
