The location of the hotel is very convenient. The room looked modern however it was very hot even with the aircon on. The temperature in the room cannot be adjusted at all and we requested for a change of a lighter duvet three times and were ignored. The service of house keeping was not satisfactory at all.

Very disappointing experience – AC not working and irresponsible staff
We had a very disappointing experience at Atlantic Hotel.
At check-in, the air conditioning in our room was not working. We immediately informed the hotel staff before leaving for the day, and they assured us that the AC would be fixed by the time we returned.
We came back around 7 hours later, tired after spending the whole day outside, but the AC was still not working. We called reception, and they sent a technician. He tried to fix it but was unable to do so. He told us he would inform reception and that they would arrange another room for us.
We packed all our luggage again and waited. After 30 minutes, nobody from reception called or contacted us. Finally, we had to go down to reception ourselves and argue with the staff before they arranged another room.
This is not the level of service you expect from a hotel of this standard. A technical problem can happen, but the way it was handled was unacceptable. The staff showed poor communication, lack of responsibility, and a very rude attitude. After a long and tiring day, guests should not have to repeatedly chase reception just to get a room with working air conditioning.
Very disappointing experience and definitely needs improvement in customer service and staff attitude.
