Heidelberg a beautiful town, Leonardo hotel made it an enjoyable visit

A lovely hotel and ticked all the boxes. An easy walk to the train station and not far from the town, shops and Christmas markets. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious with a small desk, a table and a couple of chairs also provided. Bathroom was good size also. The lady on the front desk was very friendly and deserves a gold star. Went over and beyond to welcome us and asked us about our stay when we checked out. She also gave some suggestions where to eat in the town and a restaurant suggested was great. We were very appreciative. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would certainly stay there again when visiting Heidelberg.

The room was very spacious. We had a nice balcony for looking over the city. The staff was nice and very responsive to our questions or concerns. The location of the hotel was just what we were looking for as we walked around the centre Heidelberg.

Location is good on the main road, You can walk to old town and old bridge in 10 minutes. Many restaurants near by to try different kind of food. Breakfast was good- Standard European breakfast Hotel has its own parking 17/Euros Day chargeable separately Staff is really friendly specially for pets( We took our goldi) and they really welcomed our dog also offered treats.

Nothing there to like few things can be better: - There was slight water leakage from the roof at the entry of the Hotel. Does not impact anything - Since the hotel is on main road - You can hear some noise of traffic or people moving [ Its not bad but acceptable ] - The bed is queen size- I personally would have liked a bigger bed [ Again personal choice ]

The AC was not working properly. There were some maintenance details such as the door frame that had been broken and fixed with screws, or some walls there were a bit dirty and some stains on the curtains.

The hotel is very outdated and needs a serious make-over. Having stayed few times at a Leonardo hotel in the past and always been happy with the rooms, this one was however a disappointment. Nothing like the pictures on Booking - it felt very "used" and not well maintained. The rooms are very outdated and felt a little like odd furniture had been thrown in the room without a thought. Also the soundproofing between the room was none - it was like being in the same room with our next door neighbours.

Wide space and close to the public transportation to move everywhere in the city. Kind people at the desk. Perfect hotel considering the price.
