Wonderful experience

Unlike a typical hotel, Candlewood Suites is like a studio. You have access to a kitchenette, where you can make a few small meals, a good workspace, and a comfortable bed. The staff was also very clear about the fact that housekeeping wouldn't be a daily affair. This clarification helped set expectations. At the lobby, one could buy small snacks and beverages, especially late at night. Overall, I think this was a lovely place to stay.

A great stay in Heidelberg but with alarming results

Room was large and comfortable with a kitchenette. Limited parking available for no extra charge. Close to public transport. Range of supermarkets Close by

It was a little difficult to find when we drove there. Some narrow streets to navigate. Each night we were there, the fire alarms went off, and we had to evacuate the building until the essential services had come and cleared any emergency. These occurred at 2am and 10.30pm. Both were false alarms. We were told by other guests that it had happened each night they had been there before we arrived also. Unfortunately, there has been no information or apology from management. Until this issue is resolved, I could not recommend staying here.

Best value for you money, best air conditioning around!

Two words- air conditioning! It was so cool and perfect, ahhhh finally. It was also very spacious, comfy bed, refrigerator, elevator, nice shower and a little kitchenette (plus a small table with chairs) were included. This hotel was one of the best we had stayed in at a fantastic price. There is an Aldi’s and a grocery store within walking distance. We walked about a kilometer (left as you leave the hotel) and found some great restaurants. Don’t miss the bakery by Aldi’s for some good coffee and yummy bakery!

Limited parking was available (but free!) so you may not want to leave once you’ve parked in case you lose your spot.

Nice place to stay

Everything was fine. The room was relatively large, clean and very silent. There were a small fridge, cooking stoves and cutlery, and a big supermarket nearby, therefore we could also eat a couple of times or have breakfast directly there. The location is not very close to the city center or the main station, but it is well connected with both via the public transportation, so that was not a problem. The personnel at the reception was very kind, so really nothing particular to complain.

Very friendly staff. Room was like an apartment, but with the luxury feel of a hotel. Very clean and organized. Parking provided on site and our car was safe during our stay. 10/10 would love to stay here again!

Arrival and check-in was a breeze, with clear instructions received from the hotel before arrival. Kitchenette was just sufficient for a comfortable stay, with supermarkets and grocery store just a short walk away.

Incompetent staff, Internet never worked, unprofessional and aggressive housekeeping, rubbish dump right by entrance, surrounded by noxious construction. Guests who look like vagrants doing drugs in the building.

Das Zimmer war perfekt, um dort mit dem Hund zu sein und auch an einem kleinen Tisch bei besten WLAN super arbeiten zu können. Super funktionale Küchenzeile, gemütliche Betten. Supermarkt in der Nähe. Sehr nette Angestellte.

Ich hätte gerne Kaffee kaufen können. Es ist eine Maschine im Zimmer und man erhält auch 4 Kapseln dafür..aber die halten an einem Arbeitstag nicht lang. :-)

Niet al het bestek was proper. Tweepersoonsbed en toch 2 lakens van een eenpersoonsbed? Slaapt heel moeilijk.
