Very nice hotel in a great location

I found the staff most welcoming and helpful. Likewise, the cleaning staff were thorough in their daily work. The hotel was very clean, offered a substantial breakfast, and even had a sauna and lounging room to cool down and relax in its cellar. The hotel location was easy to get to by car with public transport stops for trams & buses nearby.

Its parking lot only held about 8 cars at most.

Hotel Rose is a wonderful family run hotel. The breakfast is terrific. The room was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. There is a separate kitchen area for guests to use which was very convenient. The location is perfect; the streetcar is a minute walk away.

The area was run down right on the corner of the road with tram going by out of date and odd decor breakfast not to bad could be better room was depressing and no restaurants open had to get food from garage should be mentioned no restaurants open on a Monday

Nice rooms in an original, old building. Hotel close to public transport.

Kindly received. A map of the town was available. The room was clean. Toys available for the children. Breakfast well provided. Location next to the tram, easy to reach the centre.

No airconditioning. Since it was very hot, the windows had to be kept open. It is located at a busy traffic intersection and therefore difficult to sleep at the night.

Breakfast was super cool with many different options. The hotel is really near to bus stop so you can move easily. The staff is very nice people. They rooms have a great menu where you can also find options to visit or eat in the city.

Great location for our visit. Terrific breakfast. The Hostess was very friendly. The property was a small communal kitchen with an honor mini refrigerator. Wonderful hospitality.

A communal kitchen is nice except when someone decides to cook with garlic and the smell lingers throughout the floor!

Nice small hotel

It’s a nice hotel, with a very good breakfast. A nice option for people who only needs a WiFi, breakfast and some rest. Though it is away from the city center, there is a direct train right from the hotel to the center. Surprisingly convenient. Anyway I spent most of the time in the city and mountains, so I don’t need a great view from the window - I had it enough from the castle

The room is really cosy and the staffs are so nice and helpful.

The Wifi connection failed twice for my phone but the staff was really helpful. The brushing cup was not clean, but I didn't use it anyway. The transport was supposed to be good, but unfortunately Tram 23 was substantially reduced when I was in Heidelberg.

Room and breakfast very old fashioned. Little variety for breakfast, amount of food not sufficient for number of guests and not replenished automatically, toilet paper lacking, low lighting, extra cost for parking (did not use), lack of communication over Covid rules. The general stinginess was not indicated given the high rates for the room.

As above we did not like..Difficult to communicate. Poor breakfast. Not value for money. Not easy to get in out of the hotel due to reception closed certain hours.we arrived at 20.00 and we found a close door... likely a driver help us to call and communicate with them. They even tried to accused us for burning the cattle. Shouting in German. Very horrible experience.!!! Not recommended!

lays directly at the path to the EMBL and MPI on the hill.

The breakfast was very appropriate and the staff is nice. The key machine is cool. I could make my room super dark; which is great for wannabe vampires. Just 3 km/30 min to the EMBL and the MPI on the hill close by.

The internet is easy to access but it is bumpy when you try to stream videos. I had no light in my room when I arrived late. It was just a temporary problem, which was solved as I woke up. The bathroom light helped me ;D.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, reichlich und eine gute Auswahl! Das Zimmer war gut geschnitten und groß genug. Ich war sehr zufrieden. Gutes Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis.

Die Sauna könnte mal renoviert werden, ein kleiner Ruheraum bei der Sauna wäre noch nett, aber baulich wahrscheinlich nicht möglich.
